Epiphyte B & B

Matt runs one of the coolest B&Bs in the world, and I say that with over 40 countries of travel experience. His story of building this wonderful place, his hospitality to share it with the world, and the natural beauty of the Daintree Rainforest surrounding it all makes for a thoroughly enjoyable jungle stay. The exotic fruit breakfasts and fun recommendations for things to do by Matt (for those who want more than just to luxuriate in his B&B) made the stay a very special experience for my wife and me.

Mitten im Rainforest, Erholung pur Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, inmitten des Rainforests in einem tollen Haus gelegen in einem wunderschönen Garten. Unser Zimmer war sehr gross mit einem Balkon mit Blick auf den Wald. Matt war ein fantastischer Gastgeber und hat uns viele Informationen geben können. Hier heißt es mit und in der Natur leben. Gefrühstückt wird mit allen Gästen zusammen, viele verschiedene Obstsorten, selbstgemachte Marmeladen...auf der offenen Veranda. Für uns war dieser Aufenthalt der beste in drei Monaten!!!! Vielen Dank Matt!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Epiphyte BnB, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, Matt, the host, was incredibly hospitable and made me feel right at home. His warmth and friendliness set the tone for my entire stay. The BnB itself is very comfortable, peaceful, and impeccably clean. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The serene surroundings add to the charm, making it an ideal place to unwind and relax. One of the highlights of my stay was Matt's invaluable advice on local activities and attractions. He recommended the best places to visit, ensuring I made the most of my trip. His insights were spot on, and I had some amazing experiences thanks to his suggestions. Breakfast at The Epiphyte BnB was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, and it offered a perfect opportunity to meet and hang out with other guests. Sharing stories and getting to know fellow travelers added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. If you're looking for a calm and relaxing getaway, I highly recommend The Epiphyte BnB. My stay at Epiphyte BnB was one of the highlights of my Australian adventure so far. Coming back from an exciting day of jungle exploration to relaxing in a hammock with my favourite book listening to the rain was just the best feeling. The hand-built property is a welcoming and open environment with a focus on green and sustainable-living and is perfectly located for those seeking to explore the rainforest and cape Tribulation. I very much enjoyed having great conversations with the host, Matt - whom is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area having come to Daintree to build Epiphyte many years ago. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at Epiphyte BnB if you’re looking for the perfect retreat to base yourself whilst exploring the Daintree rainforest.

Excellent stay, great host, great company. The breakfast simple but fantastic. Beautiful setting - good location Cannot recommend it highly enough. Definitely will return if we visit the Daintree again.

This place has beautiful surroundings and made me feel relaxed the moment walk-in. It is close to the Daintree Discovery Center and was a good base for exploring the Daintree and Cape Tribulation area. The host Matt knows everything in the area and made helpful itinerary suggestions. Would highly recommend this place.
