The hotel is responsible price

I had sent pre holiday questions to reception and some days getting an almost instant answer others days, 24/48 hours. I had read others reviews about rear rooms being quieter so had asked for these and also 3 single beds. We arrived and got exactly as asked for. However, we also had a tiered room, which did not help a friend with a poor hip so they offered a change to the front which was a level floor and within an hour all was resolved. The front rooms, do have passing traffic, but not terrible if you consider it as ambient noise, but they also have balconies and views, so you weigh it up. Rooms are clean and spacious and kept clean and tidy everyday with a mini safe and kettle and shower gels etc. The lobby/lounge is large with seating and a large pool table (FOC) and bar. A large restaurant area with plenty of seating. Breakfast had a good selection but the scrambled egg, needed seasoning and the bacon is like USA streaky/fatty. No draft beer either :(. The staff are all great and friendly :) There is a free shuttle bus every 10 mins to the local gondola inc return. The local bus dept around 300m away can take you to France (Chamonix great town - Brevent small ski area) for around £20 each and La Thuile which is the best local ski for FREE, 20-30 min ride away. Walking 5 mins uphill takes you to the start of the town (high street) which is maybe 1km long with many shops and restuarants/bars. There is also a SPA on site for 20euro, which has sauna/steam/pool/water treatment pools/cold shower and massages (for extra), its nice and clean and modern and when we travelled...quiet. Great all around

We were thrilled to have stayed at IH Hotel Courmayeur in February half term. We couldnt have wished for a better accomodation for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The staff are wonderful andcheck in is seamless. The family rooms are enormous for a ski resort hotel, and we loved the loft type duplex room, with stairs leading to a second floor, which had two single beds for our kids. The actual space could have two more single beds comfortably, it is seriously large and spacious. The king size bed in the main section of the room was very comfortable and bathroom spacious and clean. We loved the view from our room of the beautiful snow capped mountains, and the room was very well heated for the cold weather outside. There is also a very convenient large car park situation on the opposite of the hotel. Breakfast was perfect with lots of hot food, great coffee, all the pastries and cakes one would ddesire, and an excellent selection of fruits as well as cheeses, and various other treats. The hotel also has a great games/chill out room, a great bar that serves various meals throughout the day, and the hotel serves dinner in the evening, although we did not have dinner here during our week stay. The location of the hotel is really a highlight of this hotel. A 10 minute stroll will get you to the Dollone Lift as well as the 4810 ski shop where we hired our ski's and left them in the basement of the shop at the end of the ski day. Really convenient. As well, in the evening a stroll into town for most restaurants is a 5-7 minute walk, and the main Via Roma walk is also around 5-7 minutes walk from the hotel. So convenient we didnt use the car all week. Please be aware there is a path to make sure that you are not walking on the main walk, which goes behind the hotel and is safe and also very pleasant to walk into town. ask reception the way. We really appreciated the hotel providing us with daily free hot chocolate upon our return from a days skiing around 4.30 pm. We are eagerly waiting for the hotel to open up bookable dates for 2026, as we cannot wait to get back Thank you IH Hotels for a perfect accomodation experience on our ski holiday in Courmayeur.
