La Falaise Hotel ★★★

"Off season, spoke with the staff, they were super friendly. Lovely, simple hotel! The room was large, clean and charming. Previous guests had problems with access and lack of hospitality. In fact there are two hotels ran by the same staff. The fancier hotel (Lou Calen) have staff in the reception and in the restaurant. It’s a few steps across the street and they will help you with a physical key etc. I revisited Cotignac after 17 years, it is still a lovely village to visit! The WiFi certificate still needs to be updated 🙂"

"Nice Hotel in a lovely location...the problem is the staff. I'm not sure if it's lack of customer service because they are not trained properly or because they are simply rude. Out of the staff we did see during our stay I would say ten per cent of them knew how to converse with the guests...some said they did not speak/understand English (turns out they did) and made it difficult to converse as a guest - not ideal. The main issue I have with this Hotel is the service particularly in the restaurants - terrible and very poor attitude. Whilst the Hotel is trying to be 'eco' the price of a room does not reflect what is on offer - the rooms are nice, spacious and clean but there is no housekeeping service although reception tell you there is - the bed is made and thats it....so, you basically pay for the room but don't expect anything else"

"Tulin Provence rentoutua ja uudistaa. Valitsimme täydellisen paikan Le Mas de Cotignac. Denis ja Sylvie ovat kuluttaja-hosteri. Sylvie huolehtii niin kauniista huoneista ja puutarhoista. Hän kiinnittää huomiota jokaiseen yksityiskohtaan, aivan tuoreen kuoren odottaessa meitä, kun me sisään - taivaan! Maaperät ovat uskomattoman rauhallisia - niin monet rentoutuvat paikat istumaan ja sukeltaa Provencen aurinko. Sylvie kasvaa paljon siitä, mitä Chef Denis valmistaa aamiaiseksi ja illalliselle - voit maistaa tuoreutta! Denis on hämmästyttävä kokki. Ei muuta ravintola tulee lähelle hänen herkullisia luomuksia. Ne ovat juhlat järkeä varten; syvyys ja makukerrokset ja hämmästyttävä esitys on epäsyvästi. Paras osa meidän oleskelu? Söpö pari, jonka olemme ystäviä, ja naurettava ja lämmin Denis ja Sylvie.
