This is our second visit to this hotel. The hotel is lovely. So clean. All areas are immaculate. Rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard. We had a lovely sea view on the first floor. Room was comfortable with everything you needed including hair dryer and kettle. Ample wardrobe space with plenty of wardrobe hangers. Balcony was lovely to sit on and watch the world go by. Buffet selections were good and there is plenty of choice. Food not always too hot but there is a microwave so a quick blast will get your food hot. Love the breakfast, so much choice. We visited the Malvasia restaurant on two evenings and had lovely 4 course meals both evenings. If you are in a standard room on all inclusive you do need to pay €20 per person but this is definitely worth the extra payment for fine dining. Pool areas are good and heated pool is so much warmer than 2 years ago. The aqua aerobics sessions are good especially when the gentleman runs these sessions ( sorry I do not know his name). His sessions are similar to the ones I attend at my local gym with some added humour which makes them great fun and a good workout especially when using the noodles and dumb bells. A jacuzzi would be a lovely addition to the pool area. There are plenty of activities in this hotel including Petanc, mini golf, table tennis, shooting, etc. A football match would have been an added bonus for guests to take part in as there is a football pitch. We did ask about his but the entertainment guy did not think there would be enough interest. I think there would have been plenty of interest as football is not just restricted to young guys. Older people also enjoy this activity. Evening entertainment was good. The seating areas in the this area are so comfortable and just so relaxing to enjoy a drink and watch the shows. The location of the hotel is great, right next to the promenade and so close to the resort centre where you can find plenty of shops and restaurants. All staff were friendly, polite and courteous. Overall a great hotel and we will be back.

Lovely hotel, fabulous staff,good food entertainments team lovely,but also respectful of people's needs,and wishes. Also good facilities next to a gorgeous beach.I would love to return.Only negative the pool area can become very windy and unfortunately on 3 occassions watched sun umbrellas being uprooted with the wind. The stand remained but the pole and brolly came out of the base.On one occasion I witnessed a friend being hit in the face with the umbrella pole.Following this I would advice that on windy days the sun shades are removed from the holders to prevent another injury and regular checks made to the fittings into the base of the brolley.If this had of been a child it could have potentially been fatal

Titre : Très bon emplacement, mais déçu par l’attitude commerciale Nous avons séjourné au Grand Playa Teguiz du 19 au 25 mars. L’hôtel bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal, en plein centre-ville de Teguise, à deux pas des commerces et de la plage, accessible sans traverser de route, ce qui est très appréciable. Les points positifs    •   Check-in rapide et personnel agréable : L’arrivée s’est déroulée sans encombre, l’équipe de réception étant souriante et efficace.    •   Chambre avec vue mer : Nous avions une chambre double avec une magnifique vue sur la mer. La taille était correcte et les prestations conformes à ce que l’on attend d’un hôtel de cette catégorie.    •   Piscine chauffée : C’est le gros point fort de l’établissement. Malgré une météo parfois capricieuse, la piscine chauffée entre 28 et 30 degrés permet de profiter des baignades tout au long de la journée, qu’il fasse beau ou non.    •   Animations discrètes mais présentes : L’équipe propose des activités comme l’aquagym, le ping-pong ou encore les fléchettes. Cela apporte un peu de vie à l’hôtel sans pour autant perturber le calme autour de la piscine. Les points négatifs    •   La restauration : un vrai point faible Le gros point noir de notre séjour a été la qualité de la restauration, très moyenne, clairement orientée vers une clientèle anglaise et internationale, mais loin des standards attendus par des Français amateurs de bonne cuisine. Pour un hôtel 4 étoiles, nous nous attendions à mieux. Nous donnons à la restauration un 2/5. Notre conseil : ne prenez que le petit-déjeuner, car de nombreux restaurants aux alentours offrent une bien meilleure expérience pour 25-30€ pour deux personnes, notamment El Guachinche de Luis, une excellente adresse pour le déjeuner (attention, fermé le soir).    •   L’attitude commerciale : une grosse déception L’immense point noir de notre séjour a été la gestion du late check-out. Notre vol étant à 18h, nous avons demandé à prolonger notre chambre, ce qui nous a été refusé sous prétexte que l’hôtel était complet. Après vérification, ce n’était pas le cas. Après plusieurs demandes, on nous a finalement proposé de garder la chambre jusqu’à 13h au lieu de midi, mais pour la somme totalement excessive de 50€ ! Dans la majorité des hôtels de cette catégorie, une heure supplémentaire est généralement offerte, et un vrai check-out tardif (3-4 heures en plus) est facturé raisonnablement. Ici, 50€ pour une heure, c’est vraiment abusif. Ce manque de souplesse et cette politique tarifaire nous ont laissés un goût amer. Conclusion Le Grand Playa Teguiz est un hôtel bien situé, avec une belle piscine chauffée et des prestations correctes, mais la restauration décevante et l’attitude commerciale sur le late check-out ternissent l’expérience. Nous recommandons cet hôtel uniquement en logement et petit-déjeuner, en profitant des restaurants aux alentours. Nous ne reviendrons probablement pas, principalement à cause de l’absence de considération pour la clie

Arrived at the hotel at 12 noon, checked in but was unable to access room until 3pm. Rooms comfortable, sea/pool facing. Large bathroom with walk in shower and all toiletries supplied. Fridge and *safe (*extra charge). Floor needs replacing as cheap laminate which joins have come apart leaving slight gaps! Pool area very well kept, plenty of sun beds. Large pool heated. Pool towels €10 each, refundable when handed back with receipt. Regular daytime activities but you are never harassed by the animation team, they just regularly walk by shouting what next activity is. Pool bar area, self service for hot and soft drinks. Alcoholic drinks need to be served. Pool toilets very clean and well maintained. Inside bar and entertainment is very good, twice nightly. Bar area quite often there is a queue however, it goes down quickly. Nice drinks, served no more than 2 per person. Revolving floor is a great addition. Restaurant food choice and quality is very poor, it takes quite a long time for any food to be replenished. In between guests using tables and table clothes being changed, the crumbs etc are thrown onto the seats. The floor also is an eye sore with laminate once again, joins coming apart. The food totally lets the hotel down. I would definitely recommend the hotel however, only on a B&B basis as this is the only time meals were edible. Location is perfect too.

The food was terrible always cold , the white wine in the bar at night was the worst wine i have ever had and it wasn't just me who felt that loads off other people were saying the same thing, if you go for dinner at 6 o'clock no snacks available until the next day not really good for all inclusive , would definitely avoid this hotel
