The staff all around the hotel are terrible. The food is a disgrace. We stayed for 7 nights and from day 1 we had problems for no reason other than probably our nationality. The receptionist are the worst along with Belen the entertainer. Belen made an allegation where I apparently came face to face with her aggressively in front of everyone.she then informs of everyone started shouting “can you step back please” bare in mind we are in the entertainment part where music is loud and people are talking so you just can’t talk like you would in your front room. She then proceeded to get the bar manager who was lovely by the way. I let her say her opinion and when it was my turn she wouldn’t let me talk and kept repeating “why should I let you talk, why should I let you talk” she became very aggressive to the point where the manager had to physically grab her and say calm down. It’s not a very friendly hotel for us brits and I definitely wouldn’t recommend. Especially for the £1900 we paid for a 7 day stay.

Visited for a 4 night holiday with my 17 year old daughter. Stunning hotel externally and internally. Beautiful greenery and water features inside. The lobby bar area is amazing, it slowly rotates once its open after 6.30pm. We stayed All Inclusive and was in room 454 on the fourth floor. Gorgeous views of the pools and beach from the balcony. The room was clean and inviting...although there was a massive cockroach in the bathroom when we arrived! Large double wardrobe, fridge, hairdryer, kettle with tea & coffee. Safe you pay €2 a day for. Lifts to all floors. Pool area was beautiful, very clean. Sunloungers are comfortable and plenty of them. Two large pools, the deeper pool is heated, more shallow pool isn't. Both salt water. Pool bar has all branded spirits, lager, cocktails, wine and blushes (recommend the lemon one!) As well as help yourself soft & fizzy drinks, coffee, tea and water. The bar service was sometimes slow when there was only 1 staff on. I think they could do with some signs on the bar with slush flavours, cocktail options etc. The food was unfortunately the worst part for us. Breakfast was the best, loved the omelette station and the sausages, fruit bar was delicious. Lunch and dinner was very much the same kind of things every day, a lot that don't really go together as a meal. One day there was a tray of peas, carrots and boiled eggs on top!? After the first day we ate out on an evening. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again but just not with the meals included. Recommended off the hotel site - The Black Bull for food. The takeaway opposite the hotel for a late night pizza! (Cant remember the name!) Jesters bar for karaoke and a fun night out. The Square - The Snug, Tick Tock, Bluebells, Irelands Eye all great for drinks and people watching. Friday evening is the market in this area. Cash only! Bags, watches, hats, football tops, jewellery etc. Always haggle!!

Beautiful place, wonderful ambience, the lounge bar especially, pools cleaned daily,everywhere spotless. Restaurant staff on the whole were lovely 2 or 3 of them were unwelcoming. Food repetitive lots of choice. The pool bar is tucked in a corner rather dingy and scruffy didn't fit in with the rest of the hotel. It would be best placed where they have the daily baroque. Perfect location. The disappointment for us we were not informed until after we had eaten on our last night that as superior guests we were entitled to eat in the al a carte Restaurant. This is terrible management in my opinion but the staff were not bothered.

This is the 3rd time at this hotel we had lovely time. We were very pleased that we got the same room as last year all hotel staff are very friendly and helpful a credit to hotel. Could not fault Food & drinks .pool area was nice and clean plenty of sun beds animation were brilliant. Big thank you Sami head waiter in restaurant for looking after us .we will be returning hopefully next year

I have been visiting Lanzarote since 2006, and this was my seventh stay at this hotel, which I absolutely love. Why? Location, location, location. My wife passed away in 2016, and I return every year to reminisce about the wonderful times we shared here in Costa Teguise. The reception staff, cleaners, waiters, and bar staff are incredibly friendly and always go out of their way to assist. They take pride in their work and maintain a professional appearance. The rooms are cleaned daily, beds are made, and towels are replaced if left on the shower floor. This will be my last visit to the hotel for several reasons. The hotel now has new owners, the Alexandre Hotel Group. While this change has been long overdue, and I hope the main atrium will see improvements in the coming years, the current state of some furnishings is disappointing. Many seats are threadbare, and during my stay, a table I was using collapsed while I was on my phone. I’m confident the new owners will address the worn-out furniture and fixtures, create a more user-friendly bar, and reposition the stage for better viewing. However, the catering situation is currently unsettled. The new catering team is struggling to adapt to the equipment and staff, and their lack of English proficiency complicates communication. An expansion of the restaurant is planned for October 2025, which should help. At 76, I prefer a peaceful holiday without disruptions, and I believe 2026 will be a challenging year for this hotel as it undergoes changes. I wish them all the best and hope to return in 2027, once the issues have been resolved. P.S. About the title of this review: I’ve always found it amusing that soup spoons were never provided for guests. Google it to find out.

Everything as expected; which was really good, except that men now have to wear shoes/trainers/sandals with toe coverings at Evening Meal times! Be warned you will be refused entry if you don't have a pair with you. Complete rubbish, petty and very annoying. I was wearing a smart shirt, smart, tailored shorts and smart but open toed sandals. Refused! Had to buy a pair of socks from local shop, looked terrible but then OK.
