Dreadful hotel . Food appalling didn’t even look appetising we lived on bread ,cheese and salad . The dishes were very poor quality . Pool bar open during the day which only had one person serving. The main bar which opened on an evening wasn’t very inviting again only one person serving so always queues ,a customer got up one evening and turned the volume up on the music so you couldn’t even hold a conversation without shouting . Tables outside on the terrace were usually dirty . Only good thing about this hotel was the room ,newly refurbished and comfortable plus clean .

All inclusive resort BUT…you’ll be charged for literally everything else. Forgot your iron? That’ll be €5 per day to use the hotels & a €20 deposit. (Stayed in many, many hotels and NEVER been charged to iron my clothes!!!) Need to wash anything? Well. That’ll be €5 for a 30 min wash- & another €5 to dry. Also. Their drinks are fine-but fancy a baileys or a different cocktail and that’ll be €5 too-just kind of cheapens the hotel in my opinion. So the food. The food was actually a surprise. From Reading the reviews prior to coming, I was dreading the food-in reality, it was actually ok. A week is ample-it is very samey, but that’s AI for you. There was always something to eat. Breakfast was probably best. Replenished frequently. Fried/boiked/scrambled eggs. Bacon. Beans. Tomatoes. Toast. Meats. Fruits. Yogurts etc. you’ll find something. Lunch was also ok. I’d have a baguette with salad and cheese or ham. Nice and filling. No issues there. Dinner. We ate out every night. That was our choice. I cannot comment on dinner as we didn’t experience it. Rooms I’m sorry they’re not for me. They’re dated They’re basic. And the beds. I feel like my back is broken. For anyone saying the beds are comfortable -i dread to think what you’re sleeping on at home. They are bad!!!!! The sofa bed in the living room is also not comfortable and the sun beds are not comfortable. Your back really suffers!!! Oh and it’s worth mentioning. You have an allocation of hot water which really doesn’t suffice for 2 to shower properly. It’s runs cold really quickly. Pool The pool was fine. Inconsistent music. The first part of our holiday was really quiet. Clientele nice but it all changed once the half term kicked in. So as of the weekend, the clientele changed and we were ‘forced’ to partake in the stupid towel on bed race and I despise it. But you had to do it or you’d not have one. Holidays shouldn’t be focused around getting up stupidly early just to secure a bed-we all managed perfectly well not doing that Monday-Friday. The families that arrived on the weekend changed everything. They were boisterous. Noisy. It had a really different vibe. I really wish management could do Something about the securing beds with towels-it’s a real deal breaker for me. We go to Disney/universal every year and have never once had to do this or seen it. There is a kids pool too, but beware. Parents apparently don’t put swim nappies on babies / toddlers nowadays and one sh@t in the pool forcing its closure. Come on parents. That’s not ok. Finally the staff. They were all really sweet. They cared. They were friendly. The bearded lifeguard was really lovely. Animation guy worked his socks off. No complaints there at all. We went to caleta de fuste a few times-it was a 5 min trip and was about €3 in a taxi. Ate at Fado rock twice-highly recommend also the restaurant next door to that-el patio which id also recommend. We have just returned from our 12th holiday at this hotel and have already booked our 13th trip. You will read some bad reviews for this hotel but we are more than happy with it. It is a budget hotel so you will not get 5* comfort or dining but the rooms are good, the hotel is clean, great pool area and good food and drinks on all inclusive for the price paid. It has great sea views from all rooms in the main hotel and is very close to the airport. It is located in a very small resort with no beach but close to the rocky shoreline and has several bars, shops and restaurants very close. Close by is the larger resort of Caleta de Fuste which is a 30-40 minute walk or 4-5 euros in a taxi where there us a big beach, marina and lots if bars and shops.

very good overall ,clean rooms good standard ,very good staff, food ok always found something,could be better . sunday evening food very poor . needs larger entertainment room, quite isolated only 3 bars in locality always very busy

Last day today. Had 6 nights here. So our review: we arrived a little stressed from the reviews we had read on here but here goes! Rooms are clean although basic. Fab shower. Comfy settee in the living area - fridge in room with a 40" tv. Rooms cleaned everyday bar Sunday and Wednesday. Pool area is lovely with the pool bar open at 10.30am although we didn't try the pool as cold ! Lovely sun trap on the terrace though. Pool bar shuts at 5 Main bar opens at 5 Food available from breakfast til 9.30pm Supermarket and gift shop on site E3.50 taxi to next town which is livelier but there is a lovely coastal walk which is around 40 mins. There are some bars and restaurants near the hotel though which are also a good visit. Food in the hotel is as you would expect from AI. But we ate a decent meal every day and there was something to suit everyone. People cleared there own plates although there where two members of staff. We just followed to help the staff! Entertainment is very basic. Karaoke every night. Tuesdays have a live singer. There is only one guy doing the entertainment and he works so hard. If you want a budget friendly holiday in the winter sun then this is a good choice. I would say not much for kids but couples wanting a kick-start to summer then this is the place. There are theses buckets as well for putting your glasses. The wind is strong. Don't under estimate the sun! We started day one as "wouldn't come back" to ending day 6 as looking for next Year. Just come back from a weeks holiday at Costa Tropical and I was not overly impressed but as it was a cheap holiday for a week in the sun. Room was small (104) but there was only the 2 of us, everything was dated, there was damage to door looks like it was kicked in at 1 time and repaired, the patio door was secured by a hook!! The cleaner came not sure what she did had as apart from the bins being emptied, the floor was always dirty and we never had a change of towels, she did change the shower mat but we had to ask at reception for a replacement.What I was upset about was was no tea/coffee supplied and the restaurant doesn't open until 8am. Food was plentiful best meal was breakfast from full english cereals cold meats and cheese. On 2 occasions we had to queue up to get in for breakfast hate to know what it would be like at the height of the season same goes for the bar always a queue with only 1 person serving it's also not very big inside so you need to be quick if you want a seat. Around the complex it was obvious that an upgrade is desperately required there is peeling paint everywhere including inside the pool. Like I said this was a cheap holiday and you do get what you pay for, we had the sun and a good laugh with everyone we met.
