Unfortunately, I have to report several serious shortcomings that do not align with the facilities and services advertised on their website and through other travel providers. Swimming Pool Condition: The pool was in extremely poor condition—clearly not maintained to acceptable standards, with many of the tiles missing from the bottom of the pool. This was one of the key amenities promised, and its state greatly impacted our experience. Lack of Advertised Restaurants: The website clearly mentioned multiple on-site dining options. However, only the buffet restaurant was operational during our stay, and even that offered food that was not hot, it was as if all of the hot plates were not switched on. I was left disappointed and had to go to restaurants out of the hotel to experience food of a decent standard. The food never looked appealing if you was not one of the first people to go into the buffet as everyone picked over the food and it was never reset Overall Facilities: Beyond the pool and dining, several other elements fell short of our expectations. The website clearly states that the hotel had a complete refurbishment in 2023, yet patio doors did not open properly, painting looked tired, the state of the pool (as already mentioned), the quality of the furniture, flooring lifting in the dining room, mold on the air conditioning vent in the bedroom, none of these looked like or gave the impression of only being 2 years old. The lack of seating in the entertainment room often meant that you could not get a seat and enjoy the entertainment experience. Swim-up pool: I booked a swim up pool room and I suggest that the title of this room is misleading as I would expect a swim up pool to be connected to the main pool, so that you can experience activities and amenities from your own pool/room. I did not expect to have to get out of the pool, walk through the room, along a corridor and then across the pool area to go and get a drink from the snack bar. I have to say what I paid to stay is far from the quality of experience I was expecting and consider that I paid a significant amount too much. I have emailed the hotel and requested a formal explanation for the discrepancies several weeks ago and have yet to hear anything from the hotel. I really don’t complain about anything but this hotel has really left me disappointed and the lack of communication is far from ideal.

first apologies for the long review. - I like to give as much info This hotel actually surprised us. We have stayed in 4* that have at the start demonstrated only a 3 * standard. The only thing that makes this place a 3*+ is simply some things are just a little tired but not to a level where it felt run down. Reviews before we went talked about poor /cold food, state of the place etc, but I actually have to disagree. I have high standards and this place ticked the box for us. Previously we had stayed in 2015 at the sister hotel Bahia de lobos in correlejo. We stayed here from 7th to 14th May 2025. We had a day time arrival. The coach stopped off on the other side of the road which was easy enough to cross. The low canopy prevents the larger busses from entering which is why we stopped there. The hotel is on three levels, with a lift access for those that cannot use stairs. Reception is on floor three as you come in and your greeted with a cool reception, views of the sea. We were surprised that the safe was free, 2 glass bottles of water are provided daily and no deposit on pool towels (which you can change once a day) and no tourist tax. We were given the usual wrist band and given all the information opening times and sent to room 106. We had booked a pool room. The room when we entered was in darkness and when I pulled the curtains I realised there was no curtains behind. So, if you want privacy in your room you do need to keep the curtains pulled as there is no thick net curtains to pull in its place. This was disappointing. The room size and condition were in good condition. Beds were comfortable and there was no quibble when we asked for an extra pillow for both of us to be sent to the room. The bathroom was large and had a walk-in shower. Note here the surface is not great in the shower. If you suffer any mobility issues I would take a slip mat with you. There is no holders or shelves in the shower so your left either holding products in your hands or walking out and putting stuff on the sink before collecting your next product. (I travel with my own stuff). On the wall there is a shower gel and, on the sink, there is also hand wash. The bathroom has a full-size mirror and a smaller makeup mirror, hairdryer and extra plug socket for straighteners or anything else you wish to use. Towels were changed as and when needed. My biggest quibble is the warm/hot water takes a while to come through. On first attempt using the shower I had left the water running from the small shower head and realised that I had started to flood the bathroom. The slab runs not completely to the back so water seems to pour off it if you’re not careful. Twice during the holiday, I had to frantically sweep with a towel and wringing it out to get the water back in the shower area. The first time I had not moved the head so was not expecting it. The bedroom has sockets on both sides so it’s easy for two people to charge up mobile phones. There

What can I say about this hotel. First the good points about it,we booked a swim up room because my husband has to use a walking stick due to his mobility,and not knowing the layout of the hotel we wanted to be able to get about without much effort. We didn't actually need the said room because everything was so near to us.Apart from that we thought it was expensive £700 for the week we stayed there.The hotel is lovely and clean, but only one lift for all hotel, which I find pretty poor for the size of the hotel.The food was just ok they certainly do not know how to cook meat always tough and chewy. Bacon was like leather you could not cut through it, the sausages were not our kind of sausages either.Another thing I found strange is people on half board were not able to get a glass of water in the dining room. I would have thought if you were eating in the dining room you should de able to get a glass of water with your meal. The bar in the evening could do with more staff, all the time we were there, there was only one person on, and they had to go round collecting glasses too.I think this hotel is mainly catering for Germans, all the TV stations were in German and was told by reception it could not be changed for two weeks, hence the presence of Germans, no thought for the British clients, which is a shame because apart from the little complaints it is a nice hotel

We stayed at this hotel recently for a couples trip. Good points: - nice staff: Dagmar on reception was helpful, restaurant and bar staff were efficient - hotel is very clean throughout - quiet at night so we slept well - good sized room (swim up) - pool was nice and warm and there were plenty sunbeds - Costa calma has some gorgeous beaches and walks, it’s a lovely area Bad points: - food was poor, not much choice (I expect this as a vegan at a buffet …. but this was the worst I’ve had). My husband said all meat was very overcooked, no variation day to day. The soup had no stock in it. It’s mostly German clientele so I think the food is more geared towards their requirements, however even then, it was the same food every meal. - the room lacked a few basics I’d expect - there was no full length mirror, only a face mirror in the bathroom - shower tray is flat so shower kept flooding the room

El hotel nos dio desde un principio muy buena vibra. No es muy grande y muy familiar. Nos encantó la tranquilidad. La cena muy rica, pero para nosotros demasiado pronto. Las chicas de la limpieza geniales, muy simpáticas y todo muy limpio. Volveremos seguro.

Great for a week, Pool needs some TLC and more windproof umbrellas around the pool are needed. The lifeguard and his music were great.All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is good, the drink menu for All Inclusive is very basic.
