Regency Torviscas Apartments and Suites

Excellent apartments and amenities. The reception team both on arrival and departure were very very friendly and informative. Only slight downside for us was it was a little too far from the beach and amenities which made it very quiet however this would suit a lot of people. There was an excellent Spanish themed restaurant around the corner from the resort literally 2 minutes which served excellent food and had excellent background music.

Clean and tidy hotel with nice staff and a fab little bakery and shop. However be aware it is up a very steep hill so not good for mobility issues or small children - it’s about a 20/3o min trek down to Main front too! Also no air con in any room totally awful - rooms are roasting and ceiling and standing fans blow hot air all around. Air con hire is 80 euros plus for 7 days. Bar prices high for drinks also £23 for three average drinks ! Would not stay again would defo do closer to front with air con

Having stayed in July, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. All the staff throughout were very friendly and kind to my family. The Bar Manager is a legend very entertaining and polite and funny. Happy Hour was good value, and a nice cold refreshing pint to help cool down. The bakery was very good and served nice treats. The onsite shop a little steep in price, but at times convenient. Local Shop 5 mins walk away is nice and fully stocked with all essentials. Entertainment was very basic and could probably could do with a little more life to it. However they did there best. Life guards were friendly and chatty with us. The HILL speaks for itself, taxi regularly available and cheap. Lovely Mexican inside the shopping centre to the right of the steep hill opposite Burger King. Highly recommend this hotel and will revisit

Brilliant 👍 Would definitely re visit Staff very friendly and helpful Entertainment great Pool area great Rooms spacious and clean. Only negative is the hill you need to climb if you walk but taxis are readily available across the island and cheap.

I will start with the BIGGEST downside… NO AIRCON!! Although it was advertised, you just don’t appreciate how huge this is until you awake at 3am because it’s so unbearably hot. There is absolutely no relief especially on the ground floor so can’t leave windows and doors open. We actually slept on the terrace most nights just for some air. Apartment is stocked with all you need but wasn’t entirely confident that it was fully clean. The reception staff were helpful, restaurant staff nice. The lady lifeguard was awful. Sat at the bar most days chatting to her friends and moaning and shouting at people in the pool if they splashed. No inflatables allowed basically no fun allowed. Upon check in it said no towels were to be left out but this was clearly not the case so expect the usual sunbed games in the morning. Good supermarket on site and a much better one just down the road (hill). In all honestly, whilst it had snippets of a nice place to stay for a week I wouldn’t come back. I guess you get what you pay for.

Just returned from an 8 day holiday. A lot of good points * checking in easy * reception helpful * cleaners frequently cleaning room etc * table tennis * dart board * lovely bakery for fresh sandwiches * reasonably priced supermarket with a crazy staff member who makes you laugh! * happy hour at bar 5.30-6.30pm half price alcoholic drinks * big apartment with a large outdoor area flat 68 * Massive supermarket at bottom of heart attack hill very cheap for food and drink * most of staff very friendly and welcoming including bar staff at the indoor bar Downsides for me * no air conditioning which we knew about so not hotels fault, ceiling fans and an industrial fan that sounded like a jet engine just did not help much and room was red hot through the night * no bars or restaurants local to the hotel so couldn’t just nip out for a pint or a meal locally within 5 mins, closest bars I found at least 10-15 mins walk * no balls in pool, my son brought two brand new footballs and couldn’t practise headers in the pool * walking back from town isn’t an option for someone who struggles with mobility especially final part before the hotel is heart attack hill Take any devices you can to try and keep cool through the night during the hottest months, hopefully other rooms aren’t the same but I doubt it! Had some great meals out * Victoria restaurant * Rumpot (breakfast) * Italian round corner from Wigan bar Forgot rest of names! Brilliant little Leeds bar called Bremners bar worth a visit! Beautiful beaches Overall a good holiday but unsure whether I would return due to location and no air conditioning in peak season.
