Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub im Chatur Hotel. Alles war perfekt, sauber, tolles Restaurant, der Pool war erstklassig und alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich kann dieses Hotel für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt auf Teneriffa wärmstens empfehlen!

We booked this hotel for our long awaited summer holiday. We paid a reasonably expensive price for the all-inclusive package and we were expecting a lot more from a four star hotel. We were meant to be there for seven nights, but we cut our stay short as we couldn’t stand the uncleanliness of the hotel. We gave the hotel a fair chance, by trying the canteen at breakfast, lunch and dinner but each time we were met with poor quality food and judging by the amount of leftovers on plates (which were rarely cleared off tables by staff) others must have thought so too. Not only did the birds love the leftovers, I’ve seen others complain of cockroaches! The snack bar which is advertised, is a help your self station and food is put in there (chicken kebabs and burgers) from lunchtime and kept in a warm cabinet all afternoon. (The doors to this were often left open). We tried the pool area but the smell around it was like sewage and all around the pool area there were plastic cups, leftover fruit and other food items. No cleaners were in sight until the end of the day. Our room was not of a 4 star standard and we found hairs in the toilets and beds. The whole room was very basic and some furniture was damaged and in need of replacing - you have to pay for pool towels, there are no teas and coffees provided in the room, no iron, toiletries etc - essentially it is not what is advertised and is not where you want to spend your well earned break (and money!). We stayed one night before we cut our break short and left. When we raised our concerns at the reception desk, staff did not seem too surprised either. Honestly do not book here!
