Barceló Corralejo Sands

Barcelo Corralejo Sands tiene todo lo que se puede pedir para unas buenas vacaciones. Un remanso de paz en medio del pueblo, con acceso a la playa a pocos metros y todos los servicios al lado sin comprometer la tranquilidad en el hotel. Habitaciones amplias y muy muy cómodas, qué cama! Las instalaciones están pensadas para el disfrute y el descanso, el equipo cercano y profesional hace difícil la despedida. La gastronomía muy cuidada y a la altura del conjunto. Ha sido una gran elección. Esperamos volver pronto. Gracias por todo!

Comfortable, clean and friendly hotel. The staff are attentive, polite and actively concerned about providing good customer services. The cleaning standards are exceptional, every single day… Even if you left your room late, so long as you asked for daily cleaning, it would be spotless with perfectly cooled air conditioned on when you returned. Entertainment was good, inclusive but never pushy. Lots of peaceful, chilled areas for grown ups/couples, yet also impressive facilities for families and children. Lovely size swimming pool, which actually seemed heated and a perfect temperature for swimming! Plenty of sun loungers available daily. Restaurant facilities/food quality selection good and actually a much nicer hotel than I had expected. Definitely recommend!

Great shower and comfy beds are the positives. Room floors are not cleaned properly so bare feet are blackened constantly and unfortunately the pool is salt water. The food is its biggest downfall, particularly the lunch bar where most of what is on the menu is inedible. First day I ordered a burger which was raw in the middle and the chicken burger was so tough that was inedible too. In the main dining area salads are excellent but hot dishes are a gamble due to overcooked meat.

We would definitely recommend this hotel and couldn't fault a thing! We stayed in a deluxe room with private outdoor jacuzzi, so relaxing! Great location of the hotel, close to all the local amenities, always clean, plenty of food choices, something for everyone. Staff were amazing especially at the pool bar and the lovely lady who used to clean our room who was always smiling and so efficient, thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

The hotel was modern, with lovely decor and very clean. The beds were very comfy, one of the comfiest we have had on a holiday abroad! We had booked a suite with the whirlpool. We had a ground floor room which was great. The terrace area with the whirlpool was spacious and had a table, chairs and two sunbeds which was fantastic. Very quiet and peaceful. The hotel and surrounding area including the pool were well maintained and very clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the daytime entertainment staff were fab! We loved the daily question game and our son really enjoyed taking part in a surfing lesson in the pool with the team, a great idea for something different to do with the kids. We never had any bother getting a sunbed as the pool only opened at 9am and there were never any queues although it probably helped that we went in June. We were half board and had breakfast each morning at the hotel but did not have dinner as we enjoy eating out at dinnertime. The breakfast was good, the food was very fresh and lots of options available. The pool bar pina coladas are fab! We had an issue with some ants in our room one evening and noticed the seal on the patio doors needed re-sealed. The reception staff were very helpful and the next morning the maintenance team came and re-sealed the patio doors which solved the issue. The location of the hotel is fab also, as it is very close to shops and restaurants. Corralejo was lovely....great family friendly area. Overall a fantastic holiday and I would highly recommend this hotel!

A beautiful hotel in a great central location. We stayed in a suite and it's one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. Plenty of room for 3 of us, with a separate room area for our teenager. The beds were so comfy and ours was massive! Nice balcony but only 2 chairs. Beautiful bathroom with a great shower. We were freezing on the first night, certainly didn't need the air-conditioning and our daughter used the extra duvet provided. We kept the air-conditioning off for the remainder of our stay. The evening meal in my opinion was disappointingly but my partner loved it. There is a difference country/region theme each night but it was difficult to tell what it was. Maybe a sign would help. Not enough beige food options for fussy eaters, just pizza and pasta every night so my daughter didn't enjoy the food. Sadly 2 of us had a 24 hour stomachs bug whilst we were here. We visited the Spa twice for the thermal circuit, what a fabulous experience. £14 each for 90 minutes sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy pool, jacuzzi etc. Highly recommended and the ladies who work there are fabulous. The hotel states that beds by the pool can't be reserved and that items will be removed if they are not used, but this is not the case. Beds were unattended for hours so this made it difficult to get a bed and they were generally reserved by 9.10 am particularly towards the end of our stay when more families were arriving. Both pools are lovely, abs I am sure the little ones enjoyed the children's pool! The activities team were fabulous as were the waiting staff and cleaners. We would visit again but probably only bed and breakfast as there are so many lovely places to eat.
