Hotel Arena Suite

This is a very nice little hotel. That had a great friendly vibe, the facilities and the staff at this hotel are great. Lovley big rooms with a big comfortable bed.The room was highly maintained and kept immaculate by the cleaning team every day. It was well equipped with tv. Fridge, safe , hairdryer. We had a terrace with table and chairs. There is 2 great pools and a kids pool. A good gym and you can also get a relaxing massage from 30 bucks.highly recommended! Great bars with all inclusive cocktails available. The food was great I particularly liked the Mexican theme night. The live entertainment in the main Bar was excellent bands, karaoke, even acrobatics. Or If you want to go to town a taxi is about 6 euros. This Hotel is affordable and great value for what's on offer. I would gladly stay here again. Well-done. 😃

Lots of positives, a few negatives... Positives: *Great location - nice walk into centre of Corralejo to get your steps in. *Rooms were clean, towels clean daily. *Pool area clean. *All inclusive drinks, snacks and ice creams very good. *Staff mostly pleasant. *Peaceful around the pool, very relaxing experience. Negatives: *The 'pool police' were over the top with the obsession with not using the sunbeds until they were finished - very controlling, rude and unnecessary behaviour. *Food was not 4 star standard - it was 3 star at best. Poor selection! *Bed sheets not changed in a week. Would we return? No. Not for us; I'd expect better food and less 'drama' around the pool from the self-important poolside police.

The hotel was very clean,our suite was large ,hotel staff were brilliant,the all inclusive couldn't fault it,7mins walk to the beach ,about 20 mins walk to the main shops and bars and restaurants,about 30 mins walk to the harbour, would definitely stay here again.

Spent 10 days here and had a great time. Our pool view room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Towels changed every 2 days and sheets once weekly. Deposit and daily charge for the safe. We thought the variety of food was good for an all inclusive, there were always several hot dishes available, 2 or 3 things being cooked fresh and plenty of salad options. The pool bar serves snacks in between restaurant times. The pool area was cleaned every morning and there was always a sunbed available. Deposit for hotel towels or you can use your own. The pool bar was well stocked. Beer, wine, hot drinks and soft drinks were all self service which was great as didn't have to queue. Deposit for plastic cups or you can use your own. The animation staff were friendly and did their best to get people involved in games, the dart board and pool table have seen better days but we still enjoyed playing. Other guests were pleasant and the general atmosphere is relaxed. The evening bar area could do with a tidy up and coat of paint but we went into town most evenings anyway. The singer we saw was very good and they had a bingo night, a quiz night and magic show night. A short stroll down to the beach where there are several bars along the front heading around to the harbour. Small shopping centre and a few bars within a 10 minute walk. We walked into town and back several times 20/30 minutes or it was only €5 to €7 for a cab. Lovely town with plenty of shopping, bars and restaurants. On departure day there is luggage storage and a shower room available and you can use the pool and restaurant until your pick up time. Our only negative observation at the hotel was that the patio doors would rattle loudly, whether in the wind, when someone in the block opened or closed their own patio or room door or even when people walked down the corridor. Perhaps some sort of draught excluder could reduce this. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our time there, the staff were all polite, efficient and helpful and we were very happy with the facilities and surroundings.

We were very disappointed overall with our stay at Arena Suite Hotel. The good points were nice rooms, very clean, good evening entertainment for an hour or so each night, very friendly and helpful staff and good location. There is a lovely shopping centre with bars and restaurants close by and the main part of town is about a 20 minute walk away. The main issues we had were with the food, facilities and sunbeds, none of which were up to four star standard. I have been lucky enough to go to many four star hotels both in the Canary Islands and elsewhere and sadly the Arena Suite was nowhere near the standard I would expect from a four star hotel. The food was at best mediocre, there was very limited choice and variety compared to other all inclusive resorts. The whole fruits at breakfast were very poor quality and the fruit in the local supermarket was actually far better. The juices from the machine were also possibly the worst I've ever tasted, so artificial. If we were in the restaurant during the earlier part of service there was a very marked difference between that and later, there needs to be much more attention to detail in terms of refreshing food items (particularly desserts) and making sure the area is still looking clean rather than feeling like you are having sloppy seconds just because you have chosen to eat at a later time. The overall facilities at the hotel were also very poor, a tired old pool table and a worn out dart board is not what I would class as an activity or entertainment area, similarly the gym space was tiny with what looked like fairly old equipment. There was nowhere indoors to sit apart from very limited seating in the reception area when the lounge bar was not open. One of the main issues we had was with the sunbeds being so close together. I am relatively slim and there was such limited space to even get onto the sunbed as the sunbeds were practically on top of each other so I have no idea how larger people were managing to squeeze into the tiny gap to get onto the sunbed. It was almost impossible to put a sunshade up if there was someone next to you as the shade would also cover part of their sunbed as they were so close. As many other people have stated one side of the hotel is shady in the afternoon so if you want a sunbed with sun throughout the day everybody is trying to crowd over to one side of the hotel. We were not staying at a peak holiday time so I dread to think what the fight for sunbeds is like at the height of the season. There was also such a limited area if you wanted to have a quieter relaxing time in the sun as by the pool bar there was music but also several groups of people sitting and drinking all day. There were also big groups on their terraces next to the pool sitting and drinking all day which is obviously their right as that is their room and terrace but there was only a small walkway between the

This place is spotlessly clean, staff all work so hard , cleaning , serving drinks , entertaining. Such a credit to the arena suites. We as a group of 5 had a great week , all the guests were all so pleasant and interacted with one another , was lovely to see. There were a few birthday celebrations around the suites including my own , had a lovely time. As for the all inclusive food : what can I say , it’s got to be up there with the best food I’ve had in an all inclusive resort . Absolutely amazing . I as part of the five , would like to return and would not hesitate in recommending others to visit .
