Hotel Riu Palace Aquarelle

Stayed at the Riu Palace Aquarelle for this Mothers Day Weekend and I loved it, it is so clean and beautiful there. However they were have air conditioning issues throughout the property, other than that I enjoyed my stay!

Booked this hotel after previously stayed at a Riu in Montego Bay. The location is fairly isolated with Falmouth being the nearest town a few KM's away. This is quite a large hotel but never seemed overly crowded. Rooms - Very well equipped with good aircon and inclusive minibar and optics. Lovely shower and a King Size bed (there was also a double sofa bed in the room which was spacious. We were in a Junior suite with sea view - Room 1161 which gave everything I had requested vis TUI. The main buffet restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice and great service. There were 4 speciality restaurants bookable via the app and all four offered varied menu's and were all high quality. Special mention to Marvin at Krystal who was particularly helpful with the menu and provided excellent service. You could also eat in the Sports Bar which offered American Diner style food. In the Sports Bar you could keep up to date with sports from everywhere (including Premier League) and the staff were very helpful in adjusting TV's etc. Imran in particular was friendly, funny and recognised you instantly and was pouring a drink by the time you reached the bar. Of the pool bars we spent most time at Marley Bar and the staff there were entertaining while serving constantly. Special mention to Melissa, Roneil and Derren (Hellloooooo!) There were three pools at the hotel as well as the splashworld and there were never any problems getting sunbeds. The entertainment team were a laugh a minute and encouraged people to get involved but not in a pressured way. Sparks and his aqua fit sessions were brilliant and he was always up for a chat with anyone. The beach was great and YES there were some rocks once you get in the water but you soon learnt the best location to enter the water The hotel was spotless throughout including the beach and was constantly being maintained. I thoroughly enjoyed my last visit to Jamaica at Riu Palace Jamaica and was slightly nervous going to another hotel but I should not have been worried. The hotel was fantastic and I would recommend it. Another great Riu Palace

Celebrated my husbands birthday at this resort.The place is really clean, our room was immaculate. We had a lovely time, the staff was very helpful, thank you Natasha, for being there and supporting us to have a memorable time. Hats off to the Cappuccino cafe and pastry chef, the cakes and pastries were always fresh, that chocolate cake hmmmm, 🍰 lovely 😍. The pool was spotless, we mostly sat at the Kingston swim up bar, the bar staff were always eager to serve you, always lively with banter, big shout to Conerll and the boys We enjoyed the vibe. The beach was clean, just to say for a hotel that was opened a year ago, the grounds ate well maintained to be that lush. Would definitely recommend 👌 We had a beautiful time.
