Coron Underwater Garden Resort arvostelua

The hotel location is lovely and we saw some beautiful sunsets. The boats transporting guests to and from the town were always punctual and they were willing to take us very early in the morning when we checked out, free of charge. The staff are very nice and helpful, but I get the feeling they're each doing about two people's jobs. The restaurant isn't very good. Half the menu wasn't available and the food quality was average, with the exception of the squid (when they finally restocked it). Coffee is terrible. Also, they advertise happy hour, but when we wanted to order cocktails, we were told that there was no barman on duty and we could only have beers. The facilities need an urgent upgrade. The rooms are fine, but from the outside, it resembles a dormitory or, to be morbid, a mental institution. Also, they advertise snorkeling, but we were advised against going in the water and the pool has very chairs next to it. Not sure if we'll book again.

We read a lot of bad reviews and were a bit skeptical but decided to give it a chance. Our experience was nothing like the bad reviews. The room was clean and had no bugs or so. Everything was working properly in the room, there was even a TV with cable TV. We ordered breakfast and lunch in advance for a given time and all was ready at that time. Also, food was good and pricing aligned with these kind of accommodations, dishes were 300-400php in general. Staff was nice. Boat rides work well. Don't be scared by the bad reviews!

Contacts préalables par téléphone difficiles à obtenir, les sonneries dans le vide sont répétitives. Bon accueil au point de rendez-vous pour prendre la banka et rejoindre Baquit. Ce service fonctionne bien mais les horaires ne sont pas toujours fidèles au planning. Les chambres sont très bien équipées et très propres. Le problème est le restaurant, plat servis loin des photos présentés sur la carte, escalope de gras de porc pour une côte de porc, ketchup au lieu de sauce tomate… Plats servi froids, au petit déjeuner pas de beurre ou pas de pain, chaque jour il a manqué quelque chose. Du coup nous avons pique niquer. Insatisfaction générale puisque des américains ont annulé leur réservation le deuxième jour et une dame avec sa fille a décommandé tous ses repas au restaurant.

Es un hotel en una isla fuera de Coron y necesitas el servicio de traslado en lancha provista por el hotel gratis pero con poca frecuencia. Implica sí o sí cenar en el hotel. El restorant es muy básico, el desayuno es definitivamente malo, se quedan sin pan como fruta es un poco mínimo de sandía (no viene en todos). No hay playa y la única recreación son kayak que los cobran, no por el precio (6 dólares por 2 horas) sino que tenes que pedirlos, encontrar que te atiendan, firmar, etc. El staff es amable y tratan de resolver pero sin recursos. La decoración y la construcción son antiguas, en fin no volvería
