Smooth checkin. Lots of parking space close to (stairs to) the room. Fine view from the room on first floor. Lots of space and a fine balcony. Nice beds and all in all a fine, recommendable stay

We stayed here for one night, partly because it was one of the only, if not the only, property that would permit a single night stay. The property is great - parking for all, there is a pool (we didn't use) and a nice green area across the street to have kids go play in/burn off energy. The room itself was fine though there was no AC. It was also a bit dirty - an opened can of some soda beverage was under the mini dining table located in the corner. Would otherwise rank this lower but one must judge it based on what it is - a motel, not a full-service resorted, etc...

Great value for money Was an awesome stay this is the second time we've stayed there the pool is small but heated which is nice and there's a hot tub as well. Sorry really into town for meals and super easy to access activities.

Idyllic spot with easy parking and cute rooms I had a good time at the Anchor Lodge. Really nice beds and lots of kitchen amenities. The one thing I didn’t enjoy was the shower: it was just a shower head in the corner of the bathroom - no raised platform, so the bathroom floor was constantly wet. Other than that, this place is a great stay for Coromandel. It’s located right next to great restaurants and activities.

Nice place. Shame they can't read the booking information. Booked clearly for 3 people and asked for 2 beds. Got 1 bed and they were surprised there was 3 of us. Supposedly the bed there was a king size, but has to be the smallest king bed of all time. My queen size bed is bigger. Travel to Coromandel very frequently, thought I'd try staying the night as an optio. For the future, but this experience just reinforced the fact that its better just to drive back each trip.

Majoituspaikan vastaus: Hello Craig,On arrival I knew there were 3 guests, but ******* had you in a King bed Studio. I asked if you needed 2 beds or was the baby sleeping with you? I asked 3 times if you wanted a King bed plus a Single bed as I could have changed the room very easily for your comfort. I offered a Porta Cot also which you declined and told me the toddler would sleep with you. You also declined having 2 beds so I'm unsure why you would agree to have one King rather than the 2 beds I offered you.I also suggested if you went into the room and decided the 2 beds would be better to come and see me and I would move you, but you didn't come to me asking to move,I can assure you all our beds in all the Studios are King beds and not Queen beds.I'm sorry you didn't process my options for your comfort when I offered you 3 alternatives.Kind regards, Sue

Basic, but clean and comfortable. Nice view of the lake from window. Good shower! About 8 mins walk to shopping area.

Really enjoyed the spacious and comfortable rooms. The pool and hot tub were a pleasant surprise after cycling for 60km
