Hampton Inn Corbin

We stayed one night on our way to the Smoky Mountains. Clean rooms, comfy beds and excellent breakfast buffet. Coffee was excellent. Easy check-in/check-out with app. Had coffee and tea to-go with a snack bag at checkout. Would definitely stay here again.

This is one of the nicest Hampton Inns that we have been to. All very clean and up to date. The room was very quiet even though the interstate was nearby. We used the electronic “key” on our phone to access the room and this worked well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was abundant and tasty. Highly recommend this hotel.

No Bueno! If you want to stay in a run down room in a place run by rude people who do not care about whether or not they get your business, this place is for you! In all seriousness, the other negative reviews here are spot on. I've stayed here before and it was okay. It has rapidly gone downhill. The smell in the room was horrible. Carpets in bad shape. Generally run down. Air conditioner sounded like a jet plane all night long. Thermostat didn't work and we absolutely froze. (And that's coming from northerners!) We just wanted to sleep and could not. Had to wear jackets over our pajamas and sleep under blankets. Asked for a little more time to check out due to no sleep and was told manager says no. And asked for manager and was refused. One front desk person was lovely but the other one was wretched and was even screaming at a guest. Never again, Motel He'll! Update: Nothing has improved since!

We booked this while on the road. They only had 2 rooms left. Glad we got it. The room as well as public areas were all very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have the best continental breakfast I've ever seen. Several juices, milk. Coffee, tea. Eggs, biscuits, sausage, gravy, cold cereal, white or chocolate waffles, oatmeal, fresh fruits, white & wheat bread, bagels, scones and more. The town has a lot of construction, but also had nice businesses. We had dinner at Depot on Main and stopped down the street at Sweeties for some delicious ice cream.

The hotel was my favorite on this vacation!!!! Kimber greeted us and was so kind. We were looking for a place to have dinner. She asked us a few questions, then made a recommendation that was outstanding!!!! The room was perfect too! As for the continental breakfast. This was by far the best!!!!

Staff closed the pool early to spend time with their family that was visiting them. Staff kicked us out of the common room so they could mop the floor . Staff was outside smoking while their phone was ringing off the hook. Rooms were clean , breakfast was good and the pool was okay.

Room remodel is terrible. No shelf or drawer under bedside shelf. No room to put needed nighttime items. Only 3 small drawers for clothes. I don't expect to live out of my suitcase when I pay this price for a hotel room. Shower water pressure is almost non-existent.

This is a very friendly hotel! Nice amenities! The only thing preventing 5 stars was the noisy air conditioner. Breakfast had a nice variety. The area was clean. There even positive messages written on the bananas! They had cookies upon arrival. Every day the current edition of USA Today

Check in with Kimber and one more staff was great. Cookies to welcome weary travelers is such a great idea. Thank you Hampton Inn Corbin! We had a nice big well appointed room with all Hampton Inn amenities but the odor of the cleaning agent in the air once we were inside the room was suffocating. The hallway was relatively empty so we stood by the door and kept the door open to air out the smell for a good 20 minutes, twice. I made four cups of coffee to cut back on the odor and that helped. Almost smells like cigarette. I requested front desk the next day, to please take care of this issue. They said they will try to tell housekeeping to go easy when they spray whatever it is in the air when they clean the room. Buffet is great. Except for the smell in the room everything was perfect. If you have allergies to smell please call them ahead and have them get your room ready by going easy on chemicals sprayed in the air.
