Crown Resorts Horizon Hotel

Me and my boyfriend had the most amazing stay at the Cali Resort & Spa. The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The pool is lovely and relaxing with plenty of sunbeds. The food was delicious. The location is great, you are 5 minutes walk away from the gorgeous coral Bay beach and the hotel is right next to a little strip of shops and restaurants. But the service was exceptional from start to finish and that’s what really made our holiday, well that and the weather! We also had an incredible couples massage on our last day at the spa, which ended the holiday perfectly! The lovely Panos and Taxia really looked after us, thank you!

We recently had a couples' Cretan massage with Taxia and Panos, and it was absolutely amazing! As a couple who’s never had a massage before, we can confidently say this experience has set a very high standard for any future treatments. The entire team was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, especially considering my knee issues. They really went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable throughout. Panos was fantastic at getting the knots out of my partner's back and was very reassuring throughout the treatment, making them feel at ease. Taxia, on the other hand, was incredibly gentle and attentive with my legs, which was exactly what I needed. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, personalized, and professional massage experience!

Currently on our honeymoon at Cali Resort. This hotel is better than I could have imagined and it is the best hotel I have stayed at. First impressions: we arrived pretty late and were greeted by Mahmoud and another man (sorry forgotten name). They were so courteous and brought us over the most delicious home made lemonade. The lobby smelt amazing as did the towel we were each give . We were upgraded to a sea view room as it was our honeymoon. We also had some sparkling wine, sandwiches and sweet treats in our room. This very nice touch went a long way. Hotel: the design is beautiful, it smells lovely, everything runs so smoothly. The staff are all delightful. The pool is perfect. Can always get a sun lounger (not necessarily the ones over the pool but usually late afternoon you will). Food: third day in while leaving this review and everyday the food is consistently delicious and there’s always a wide selection! Spa: just returned from a massage and facial treatment. Wow! The spa is gorgeous, the treatment room is lovely and dark and so clean. Panos was my masseuse and he was fantastic. My husband has Taxia and he feels so much better in his back muscles already. What lovely people who really know what they are doing. Location: for me the location of this hotel is perfect. It’s quiet enough in the hotel to feel totally relaxed. Entertainment of a night is the right amount. Coral Bay strip is so close if you want something more lively. The beautiful Coral Bay is about a 7 min walk. It’s chilled and the sea is perfect. You can walk another 20 mins to Corallia Bay, also absolutely beautiful. I am Australian and was raised near the beaches. These two beaches are just what I needed for a long awaited beachy holiday. Overall, this hotel has exceeded my expectations. It is the only time with a hotel I’ve thought I definitely want to return here. Will be using this chain to to look for a family hotel for us and our 4 year old next time! Thank you for the perfect honeymoon.

We went for a massage in the aegeo spa and I had a cretan massage done by a lady called Taxia and it was incredible. The pressure was perfect and I left feeling relaxed and all of the aches that I had going into the massage were basically gone. I would recommend doing this on your trip to this hotel. The hotel it self is amazing also. Food was so tasty and such a good variety, drinks where good too and the staff where incredible and always eager to make sure your stay is the best it can be. It’s safe to say we will be coming here again.

Just returned from a 5 day solo trip and it was mostly great! The hotel is beautiful and the aesthetic of the rooms is very much to my taste - the beds are super comfortable! It’s very clean. The pool is huge and gorgeous and of course the big draw are the sunbeds right in pool giving you easy access in and out. I know there’s been a lot of talk about people putting towels down and leaving for hours but I honestly didn’t witness any of this. However they are of course the beds that go quickest so if it’s important to you to have them then I’d suggest rising a bit earlier - most are gone by 8am. While I understand this can be annoying, it really is just first come first serve in motion so if you’re not bothered lie in and if you are, get down there! The service is mostly fantastic but the pool bar is understaffed which I think is quite an obvious oversight - I always got my drinks when I ordered them from a passing waiter but it was stressful to witness them working so hard under pressure when one or two more people could make the whole thing a lot quicker and easier. Their sister hotel up the road (Ivi Mare) has an app for ordering drinks to loungers and they should absolutely do the same here. It’s also a shame that the pool bar doesn’t open until 10am when everyone in midsummer is by the pool by 8/9 - obviously I can understand not serving alcoholic drinks at that time but not having it open at all is the kind of thing that makes it a very good 4* rather than a 5*. I enjoyed the food and the wine is the best I’ve ever had in an all inclusive! Their sister cocktails were hit and miss but better than most all inclusive. I suspect this hotel will get better with time and I’d certainly come back to find out!

Right from the very second we arrived it was obvious we were going to enjoy a 5 star experience. The hotel itself is spotless from top to bottom and the lobby is huge and decorated beautifully. The pool area is fantastic with a 50m pool and sun loungers available in and out of the water. The loungers all have deep mattresses that make them extremely comfortable. The food is great and we were there for 14 days and never got bored. There is a wide variety of choice and different themes every night of the week. We enjoyed the endless cocktails all of which were part of our all inclusive experience. The evening entertainment is enjoyable and low key but if you fancy something a bit livlier, there is a strip of pubs etc only a 2 minute walk away. The best part of our experience was by far the staff. They are outstanding. All staff were so friendly and they genuinely can’t do enough to make your stay completely hassle free. If you are looking for a stunning hotel to completely chill out and relax then look no further - this is the place for you!
