Super 8 by Wyndham Cookeville

I am so disappointed! I reserved a handicap accessible room. It was clearly posted on the hotel website. While I was checking in I was informed that they did not have any accessible rooms! I( was livid and was you have got to be kidding me! The reservation went thorough for the room and not once was I told that there were none available. I went out to my car and spoke to my mother about the situation, she is in a wheelchair. I was still very upset, but didn't feel like going through all the trouble of trying to find another place to stay, I went back in to see if they had a first floor room. I sent a message to corporate about the situation, but I never received a reply. I need to find a direct email, they need to be aware of this situation!

I spent Two nights 10/20 & 21. First the staff was great, second the room was a great it was clean the bed was very comfortable and it was quit. It is close to many restaurants, shopping and other points of interest. The motel is just oof the interstate, its easy to find and no trouble parking. I will stay here whenever I am in Cookeville.

The bed was very nice looked like it was just remodel and new sheets ,bathrooms was super clean and such good water pressure and hot water, breakfast was good 👍 I would recommend this hotel to any one needing a place to stay. Good area and I felt very safe it this area.

Nice place for the price. Like most places these days, expect a 20% add on tax. Rooms were decorated tastefully. Very clean. The amenities were minimal. Packets of shampoo, etc. No Kleenx, but TP is a substitute. Breakfast was mostly carbs/bread. Yogurt and fruit were an option that is not to filling but healthier. Coffee was a surprise with an option for a caffeine boost. Nice touch. Stairs, no elevators. Door can be a bit tricky to open at first.

Very clean , and modern style rooms. Staff are great and very helpful , the breakfast is great compared to other hotels of similar cost . Plenty of well lit parking , and the entire property feels very safe. Best value in the area . Stay here every time I’m in town.

Very nice lady on reception welcoming Room 100 ,NFC locks on the door , very handy very nice large clean room , Massive 4K TV stunning picture Wi-fi 75 Meg really good New build motel , Loads of eating places in walking distance Be advised no guest laundry at this location. Excellent motel"

The staff was exemplary so our expectations were hopeful. However the sheets were dirty and the water pressure at the sink was poor. The breakfast offering was way below expectations based on our experience with other Super 8 motels.

As long as we pulled up we started to feel like we made a mistake choosing this hotel. The receptionist was cold and slightly rude ( definitely not accommodating ). We went to our room on the second floor ( stairs only ) and it seemed nice inside as it had been updated. The bathtub dripped all night. Decided to watch some tv…tv had a green line through it but could not get any channels. Call reception, was told to unplug cable box and it would reset…I did this twice with no luck. So we went without watching tv. About 5:00 am the neighbours turned on their tv and we felt like it was in our room. We were not impressed. The breakfast was a joke ( a bag with a blueberry muffin, some cookies and a small bottle of water ) . I did email the general manager a few days ago but still no reply. Won’t be staying here again.
