Cozy & Rustic Cottage, Close to North Conway and StoryLand!

This is an older property, but it was cozy, the beds were comfortable, and the house was well equipped, from the kitchen to the bathroom, and plenty of dry firewood for making fires. We've stayed at several vacation homes through VRBO and this was by far the best equipped. Our hosts were communicative and got back to us quickly when we had a question or needed something. The location was ideal for hiking in the White Mountains and there were several excellent restaurants and outdoor recreation shops nearby. We would stay here again.

This cottage was just a perfect place for us during our New England fall visit! From the kitchen supplies to the linens, it had everything we needed. Most of our breakfast and dinner meals were made at the cottage. After a full day of touring around New Hampshire, it was so relaxing to come back to the cottage and relax by the fire while dinner was cooking (mostly in the crockpot)! Most important was the comfortable beds which provided us with a good night sleep. The backyard surrounded by a forest full of beautiful yellow and orange fall leaves was also a place of relaxation when we returned from our day trips.Nancy was so easy to communicate with and answered any questions that we had. I would highly recommend Nancy’s cottage to any visitors coming to this area. If we return to the Conway area, we won’t hesitate to stay here again.

This is our second stay here. Great location. Suited our needs. Only con (personal preference) is the bed is hard. And would like blinds on the windows for darkening. Would stay again.

Perfect Location Story Land was the primary destination during our stay, and the cottage made travelling there quick and easy. It was also a breeze going to Schouler Park by way of back roads. The typical traffic congestion on the main road had no impact on us during our stay. The cottage itself is super clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed for the night we cooked in. We never felt cramped, especially with the large playroom towards the rear of the cottage. We won't hesitate to book again.

We had a wonderful stay. We found the house clean and inviting when we first arrived complete with a welcome basket. The house was close to so many locations yet still felt quiet and nestled in the woods. there was ample room for our family of six and the playroom was a huge hit so much, In fact the day we got home, we found a foosball table on marketplace and went and picked it up. It did get a bit warm, but there were a lot of fans available in the house. The only thing that I would like to see for our next stay is a curtain on the living room door at night. It just feels like you can see into the hall with the bedrooms. Overall, a great find.
