Karma Manoir des Deux Amants

Excellent location if you have a car. We booked 3 tours with Mark B and they were all excellent. Saw sights and heard about historical places in France that we would have missed otherwise. His extensive knowledge of history, politics, and hidden spots in the region cannot be understated, along with his storytelling and manners. Each day was even better than the last. The rooms were well-stocked and the staff were helpful. The river, green spaces, and outdoor pool were all beautiful. All in all a great place to stay when sightseeing across west France and Normandy area.

I would have given it 3.5 stars but that's not an option... The staff was simply AMAZING, honestly they get 10 out of 5 stars. The location is indeed way out in the middle of nowhere but honestly that makes it even that much more gorgeous. The reason for my lower rating is based on the standards that we're used to with our Wyndham time share. Our until in particular did not hold up to the standards we are used to AT ALL. My son had a huge stain on his bed spread, there was blood on qthe toilet seat and there were holes in all the screens not allowing us to keep windows open. Now I understand that spiders tend to get anywhere so it's unfortunate that it happened, but there was a HUGE spider that managed to get into my clothes, the furniture was very worn and old, our washing machine was insanely loud (nobody's fault just unfortunate for the time of our stay.) the toilet itself was loose and again just the overall quality was very disappointing compared to what we are used to. Ultimately I'm happy we got to experience France a little bit and I'm grateful the resort was gated and the staff was GREAT I just think the rooms need a face-lift!

J’ai cru être dans une camera cache, nous arrivons à 17h puisque les chambres sont dispo à 16h 2 personnes devants nous donc nous attendons 40mn pour que l’on nous explique à la fin que la personne qui check les resa booking n’a pas fait son taff et que du coup nous n’avons pas de chambre. La direction ne répond pas au téléphone personne ne sait quoi faire limite on se fait engueuler car les employés sont à la limites du pétage de cable. A 19h15 on nous prépare 2 chambres en urgence (alors que 2h avant on me dit qu’on peut rien faire pour moi et que je dois le retourner contre booking )sans linge de toilette bref une vraie catastrophe. Nous ne mettrons plus jamais les pieds dans un endroit comme celui là.
