"The hotel is easy to find with ample free parking which had the added benefit of being secure. The staff are lovely and speak very good English. The rooms are very spacious, clean, comfortable, very quiet and well appointed although our bathroom would have benefited from a shower curtain to make showering easier. "We were given a warm welcome when we arrived and were impressed with the reception area and restaurant. Very clean, elegant and cool. Unfortunately, it was booked for a wedding reception so we couldn’t eat there. Our room was in an annexe in the spacious garden. Unfortunately, it didn’t have air conditioning, which was a severe blow, given the unusually high temperatures. (The rooms in this part of the hotel are currently being rennovated, so hopefully this will be rectified in furure). We were saved by the French windows into the garden ( and copious quantities of mosquito spray). The secure, free parking is a bonus."

"I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel, which I had chosen because of its location. I learned the hard way that it was possible to be downgraded; the room did not match the description at the time of booking, but the one in the lower range. Even if the damage is minimal, the hotel management does not care, even though it is still a case of imperfect execution of the contract (Article 1217 of the Civil Code). That was without taking into account the smell of mold in the bathroom and the noise from the pipes in the adjacent rooms..."
