Beautiful hotel in a pretty decent location however far from ideal. Some of the staff is so sweet especially the cleaners and reception, however Roberto at breakfast is very rude and disrespectful to guests. Eggs are undercooked. Was wearing a bikini top and long pants to the snack bar by the pool I went to sit down and the man kicked me out cause I had no shirt I asked why he said cause and I goes well I don’t have a shirt with me and shrugged his shoulders, while I noticed four other women with bikini tops on sitting and eating who didn’t get scaulded. Food is mediocre, I wasn’t expecting anything unreal but it’s not the nicest, selection is pretty good tho lots of choices. Entertainment is very catered to kids to be quite honest and can be mundane with some good acts. Swimming pools are stunning but close at 6pm which is very early sun doesn’t set till at least 7/8pm so should be open till then, especially at times when it feels like there’s nothing to do in the hotel. Bars closing at 12am with after 11pm you have to pay for your own drink, even when you’re all inclusive, that’s very ridiculous. Like why for an hour until close you have to pay for your own drink when you’re all inclusive?? And the closing time should be extended at least on the weekends to 1am min. Lots of rules and restrictions that are very limiting and silly especially for the price you pay for the hotel. Like all in all it is decent but has a lot of quirks that will make your stay not fully enjoyable and irritated especially if you’re a younger person rather than a family. Location is close to places. You can easily get cheap buses to anywhere on the island. So it’s good for that unless you want a beach resort which this isn’t but aesthetically is very nice. Beach is pretty near too but not the nicest one in Gran Canaria. Close to the dunes and a shopping strip and a dupe market open on Wednesdays. I do think they’d benefit from having board games in the bars.
