Cabinas Tortuguero

Cabinas Tortuguero is a magic place :) For everyone who likes a place full of nature in the original Tortuguero style. The staff is really nice and they help you with the boat trip to Tortuguero or to book different tours with a local guide in Tortuguero. I recommend the tour in canoe. I loved it to enjoy the nature from water. Cabinas Tortuguero are located in the center, so everything is quite nearby. They have rooms with fan or air conditioning. And there is also a Hostel dormitory. The fresh and selfmade breakfast is delicious!! I would highly recommend Cabinas Tortuguero :) Cabinas Tortuguero es un lugar mágico. Una pequeña oasis en medio del pueblo. Con mucha naturaleza y hamacas donde se puede descansar y recargar energía al cien :) el desayuno hecho en casa me encantó!! La gente es muy amable y la recepcionista me ayudó con varias preguntas. Se puede hacer la reservación de diferentes tours con un guía local del Hostal. Los tours empiezan justo en el Hostal lo cual es muy práctico. Recomiendo hacer el tour en canoa que es muy tranquilo y me encantó conocer la naturaleza desde el agua. Ojalá que pueda volver algún día a este lugar maravilloso :) Die Cabinas Tortuguero liegen direkt im Zentrum und sind wie eine kleine Oase. Von Außen unscheinbar, gelangt man in ein kleines Paradies voller Pflanzen und Tiere. Es ist auch gleich ein paar Grad kühler als im Dorf selbst. Die Cabinas sind ein ganz besonderer Ort für alle, die das ursprüngliche Tortuguero erleben möchten. Der Schlafsaal ist sehr geräumig und es gibt eine Kochmöglichkeit. Restaurants/Imbiss/Supermarkt, Frutería sind in der Nähe. Im Garten gibt es Hängematten zum Entspannen. Das super leckere und frisch zubereitete Frühstück mit selbstgemachten Brötchen, selbstgemachter Marmelade, Obst und Kaffee war genial! Die Mitarbeiter haben mir mit verschiedenen Tipps weitergeholfen. Im Hostel kann man auch Touren mit einem Local Guide buchen und wird dann direkt am Hostel-Eingang abgeholt, was super praktisch war. Ich kann die Kanutour sehr empfehlen, wenn man gerne entschleunigt und in Ruhe die Natur Tortugueros vom Wasser aus kennenlernen möchte :) Das Nationalparkticket kann man auch für einen Ausflug in den Nationalpark nutzen. Mein Fazit: Vielen lieben Dank für die tolle Zeit. Ich wäre gerne länger geblieben. Hoffentlich irgendwann mal wieder :) muchísimas gracias por todo!! Es un lugar maravilloso :)

La habitación lo normal para costa rica, bastante basica. La limpieza escaseaba. Por la noche no pudimos descansar porque está al lado de un pub que tiene la música toda la noche con un volumen considerablemente alto. El sitio es bonito y céntrico.

El lugar cuenta con lo básico, abanico, baño privado, jabones, sábanas limpias. Dentro de la habitacion se nota que hacen constante mantenimiento en paredes ya que están bien pintados y con decoración acogedora. La única queja es lo angosto del baño y la ducha, el espacio es demasiado justo. En relación a las áreas exteriores es muy chica la vegetación como rodea las áreas comunes lo que da frescura y una buena vista. Es un lugar cómodo y bonito para pasar en tortuguero. Recomendado.

Nos robaron y abrieron las maletas en recepción al dejar nuestro equipaje a su “cuidado” mientras nos dejaban entrar en la habitación. Las habitaciones muy simples, cama, sabanas y toallas viejas con agujeros y un ventilador que funcionaba regular y ruidoso. El peor sitio donde hemos estado

We had an amazing experience here. My girlfriend and I stayed in the dorm rooms which are exactly what you would expect hostel dorm rooms to be. The staff Carmen and Daniel made our quick trip to Tortuguero exceed expectations. Daniel was a very friendly and fantastic guide for the tours offered by the hostel. Carmen was a sweetheart. Right from check in she gave us amazing recommendations for food all along the River as well she took care of everything to organize the cheapest and most efficient travel to our next destination while we enjoyed the tours. For once I didn’t need to spend a second of my trip worrying about my next steps. Most helpful and friendly staff I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with in a while.
