The Lodge was great, nice and private. There are no windows, but you are protected from mosquitos. There are guides included in the 2 night package, and we rally appreciated that two of the ones we encountered were locals that live close and not from other parts of the country. Hope they continue to use the locals, as this makes everything more authentic. Noel was a perfect guide, and he knew a lot about every little thing.

This is in Tortuguero National Park and are in the middle of the rain forest. You hear the wildlife and the rain. If you need quiet, this isn't the place. Our tour guide called it a little rustic. The lodges had a rustic appearance and a ceiling fan, no AC. It was rainy so we didn't get to use the spa or pool facilities and it was very damp; don't expect to be dry. However this is the rain forest and expect to be damp/wet. We were warned that the plumbing required some care, but the bathrooms were quite modern. Surprisingly mosquitoes weren't bad (housekeeping told me to keep the door closed). Every day the towels were folded in an artistic shape on the bed which was fun. Maybe bring slippers that you don't mind ditching at the end of your trip.

We were greeted warmly and given a tasty welcome drink. The individual lodges were clean and cozy. All lodge staff were gracious.The lodge windows were covered with mesh and allowed the sounds of nature to be enjoyed. Loved seeing and hearing the howler monkeys!

Aninga Lodge was an incredible place to stay and well worth the journey to get there. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the wildlife spotting was amazing—you couldn’t get much more immersive on your lodge doorstep. The accommodation was remarkable, especially considering its location in the rainforest. The pool was in an idyllic spot, and we even managed to see a sloth from the poolside. The buffet food was good, and the location was ideal if you wanted to visit Tortuguero and the beach, just a short boat trip across the river.

Excellent hôtel avec un accueil 5 étoiles On y mange très bien et varié Le personnel est très sympathique et aux petits soins Le bungalow sont tellement jolis, l’intérieur est simple mais super pratique En prime il y’a beaucoup d’animaux qui vivent dans les arbres près du lodge ce qui fait qu’on peut en voir tous les jours, c’était top Quel dépaysement, merci 👍🏼😊

Magnifique hôtel lodges dans un écrin de nature… splendide ! La cuisine est délicieuse et la chambre magique avec tous les bruits de la jungle le soir venu … la piscine et le bar est très sympa et le guide pour effectuer des ballades formidables est très pro …

Bellissima struttura immersa nella foresta, camere in casette singole costruite su palafitte e senza finestre ma solo con fitte zanzariere. Questo permette di poter stare lì senza soffrire il caldo (almeno nel periodo dell'anno in cui siamo andati noi) ed essere totalmente immersi nella natura, circondati da una bellissima vegetazione, scimmie urlatrici, bradipi, iguane, farfalle..davvero suggestivo e bellissimo. Abbiamo avuto un problema in camera (dovuto non a loro ma alla mancanza di elettricità) e ci hanno cambiato subito la camera. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Lodge dans la jungle. Très typique. Tout est vert autour. Magnifique. On y accède qu en bateau . Lodge très confortable. Parapluies mus a notre disposition car il pleut beaucoup. La cuisine est excellente. Simple mais très bonne. Piscine au top.

Un luogo incantevole immerso nella foresta, camere spaziose e pulite, molto particolari tipo palafitte. Di notte sentirete i versi delle scimmie e dei tantissimi uccelli che potrete vedere già nel parco dell'hotel il mattino dopo insieme ad alcune iguane. Bar abbastanza fornito e piscina carina con affaccio sul grande canale navigabile. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile, considerando che il ristorante è solo a buffet e con pochi piatti e abbiamo trovato la Spa chiusa, avrei dovuto dare 4 stelle e non 5, tuttavia, visti gli standard anche dei migliori hotel in Costa Rica, direi che questo è davvero eccellente.
