If you want to be close to the city of Hildale, its about a mile away along with Bee's Grocery Store. It's on the side of a mountain which made for great views (of the city). The camp could use a little TLC as the tent zipper broke twice. The second time, it took them 14 hours and 2 calls to get it fixed. In the mean time, a very friendly feral cat came into the tent, took a nap and ate my hamburger buns. Also, the owners dogs will often visit. The grill only had 3.75 legs and rocked side to side. The place was very clean, but pillows are flat, so I had to order a couple more. The AC and heat worked well. Some people complain about the narrow bride you cross to enter, but if you're a capable driver its not an issue. The bed was a bit hard for my taste. Good view of the "twin city" fireworks, but on the 4th of July, however the fire departments drive around at 5 a.m. with their siren blasting to wake everyone up for some stupid reason. I don't get that as I prefer to sleep in on a holiday. There's no one in the office and its self check in / out. There's lots of ATV's zooming around at all hours of the day and night. The FLDS people at Bee's market are not friendly to outsiders, so be aware that this is an active FLDS community even though around 5000 of them moved out after the Warren Jeff's scandal. They gave a lot better customer service that their competition (zion glamping adventures). The bathroom (3 full, 1 toilet only) were clean but a hike from up the hill. You can park close to your camp for easy coming / going, off loading.

One road to the site was impassable and the only other way was sketchy. If I would have had a larger vehicle (Nissan Rogue), I would not have been able to drive to my site safely/comfortably. The site was cute however the tent did not zip properly. Two layers of tent to zip at the door and neither of them actually closed all the way. Animals at the “petting farm” are super sweet, but all of them had discharge from their nose and eyes and their living conditions were disgusting. There was even a dead chicken in with the pigs. I guess for the price it’s not a bad stay, I enjoyed myself aside from the above mentioned.
