Photo’s misleading. Booked for 3 nights, left after 2. First impression was it’s a rough diamond, then realised it’s just rough. Rooms shabby, carpets sticky, beds smelly. Everyone should stay here once - so they appreciate what they’ve got.

Booked for one night as visiting friends in the area. Read the reviews after we'd booked and very nearly didn't go, but as it was by far the cheapest option locally we thought stuff it and off we went. The bar was very busy when we arrived at 6pm, a friendly local took us to the check in desk. The lady that checked us in was lovely. The doormen were so friendly. Our room was in the annexe and was perfectly acceptable for one night. Clean, warm and the two single beds were comfy. Heating was on when we arrived, big telly with Netflix etc, kettle with lots of tea, coffee. Yes the room is small and a bit tired looking but as long as clean and warm who cares? At £53 quid we have no complaints. We headed back to our room at 11pm expecting the worst after reading all the complaints of noise. We had ear plugs ready.. No need! Yes we could hear hear the music but only faintly and we couldn't hear the people outside at all. This was a Saturday night. Maybe we were just lucky or it's worse in the rooms above the pub but we had no issues at all. The music ended at midnight then silence. The bottle bins were emptied at 7.30 Sunday morning but that lasted 5 minutes. Nice cuppa then off home. So no complaints from us. If you're looking for luxury look elsewhere. If you want a cheap, warm room for the night with a comfy bed I think you'll be happy enough :-)

A very short and simple stay. The place was clean, however very loud, but being above a lively pub that is totally expected. The beds were really comfortable, a kettle, mugs and tea were provided along with plenty of plugs for chargers etc. The window didn’t close or open properly, however we didn’t find this too much of a problem. The biggest problem we faced was the roaring noise the toilet would make when flushed, it was so loud! And did this about 4 times before calming down, however still usable. The room was temperamental to get into too, the card didn’t always work straight away and did deactivate if it was left next to a mobile phone. The stay was convenient for what we needed it for!

On the only plus side of the stay is there is free parking at the rear, the rest of the stay I find difficult to find any positives. Quilt cover had stains, you could feel the springs through the mattress. The bathroom floor was dirty, the window panes were falling apart and you could hear the noise of the traffic. Some sort of effort seems to have been made trying to refurb but badly done with cracked tiles under the bath & grout left all over the bathroom floor. What was totally unforgivable is the mould growing in the shower heads!! Why they felt the need to empty the bottle bin early the next morning I do not know - inconsiderate I guess. I tried to bring some of these issues to the attention of the duty staff the next morning only to be faced with denial and a very negative attitude. Avoid this place at all costs - they couldn't pay me to stay here again.

We stayed as an overnight for an early flight next day. Positives - free parking on site and close to the airport. Negatives - absolutely awful, the bar is vile, the carpeted hallways are something from the 80s. The tiles in the bathroom was all chipped, marks on the bedding, the noise was absolutely horrendous yes it says there’s live music on their description but nothing about the rooms not being sound proofed. To get to our room we had to walk up a metal fire exit and across a roof top. The room stank of cigarette smoke from the people smoking below. Thankfully we were only staying as a stop gap but I wouldn’t even recommend for that! Disgusting and dirty.

Turned up around 5pm to check in. Couldn't park in the car park as it looked as though the customers had arrived and parked drunk. Check in was ok, although anyone would have thought from the loudness of the music that it was 10pm on a Saturday. Which was weird, considering there were about 10 old guys (with about 8 teeth between them) in the bar. All of them staring at us whilst sucking on Quavers and peanuts. The room was tiny and filthy. The only surface that wasn't covered in some kind of grime was the bed, which was comfortable enough. TV remote didn't work. Which didn't really matter as the music from downstairs was so loud it made the cups rattle. This went on until about 5 minutes to midnight, even though the last 2 hours had about 3 people including a barmaid wiping down. We actually had to get out for a walk and a break from the noise 4 or 5 times through the evening before being able to get to sleep. Late access via an unlit fire escape. Awoken at about 6.30 by someone emptying last night's bottles into the recycling bin, then having a loud conversation right underneath our window Real shame as Coleshill is actually a nice little place with some good pubs and views. (The Red Lion very welcoming, not smelly or dirty and reasonably priced, good drinks) Rooms were not justifiable at even half of the price paid. It's almost as if the people running the pub have yet to discover they've actually got people paying to sleep upstairs! Just don't stay there. Seriously!

I was going watching Doja Cat. I booked this hotel as I’m from Manchester and I didn’t want to drive back. I parked up and was greeted by the ‘locals’ with dirty looks - making me feel uncomfortable. I walked into the bar area, to be greeted with the stale smell of urine. The lady told me where my room was. The room was basic (as expected) but filthy. When I came back from the concert the barmaid was screaming, swearing and giving whoever she was on the phone to abuse. It was embarrassing and very uncomfortable. I went straight up to my room to try and get some sleep. All I could hear were drunks swearing and being loud until early hours of the morning. The walls in the room must be like paper as I could hear someone coughing all night. I hardly got any sleep. In the morning at 8am someone thought it would be a good idea to jet wash the decking at the back. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all and I’m surprised it is even still open. Probably the dole dossers keeping it going!

I made a reservation for a week at the coach but after one night I had to leave and find another hotel. I couldn't cancel and couldn't get a refund via *********** either. the room was the dirtiest I have ever seen locally. The room was supposedly cleaned before me arriving but I found dirt marks on bed linen as well as blood spots and hairs under the duvet. The photos on here show some issues but not the full extent. the bathroom was very dirty and mold all over the shower. I know its cheap but this level of cleanliness is not acceptable.
