Courtyard Cocoa Beach Cape Canaveral

Absolutely disgusting experience at the Courtyard Marriott Cocoa Beach Canaveral. The entire hotel is dirty, outdated, and in desperate need of renovations. But the real nightmare? Waking up at 4 AM to find a huge roach crawling on my son’s pillow. Needless to say, none of us could go back to sleep. We ended up crashing in my parents’ room for the rest of the night. When I called the front desk to ask if they had another room, the staff acted like I was the problem and made it seem like helping me was a massive inconvenience. Beyond rude. They did remove the large bug and said it was “normal” for this location. WTH!!! As if that wasn’t enough, Patricia at the front desk failed to book our return shuttle from the cruise port to the airport. After waiting over an hour, we were forced to hire another company and pay out of pocket—effectively paying twice for the same trip. The cherry on top? The general manager left me a voicemail saying they wouldn’t compensate us for their mistake. It’s obvious the staff here don’t like their jobs, and it shows in how they treat guests—even Gold Marriott members like me. Stay far, far away from this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping with bugs and throwing money away because of incompetent service. Marriott, do better

Well maintained and clean property. Easy 5 minute walk to beach, which seemed almost private with chair, umbrella and board rentals. Nice setting and clean outdoor pool & whirlpool with outside bar. Lobby area inside was nicely arranged with plenty of seating areas to socialize or work and a small coffee shop/ bar in middle serving Starbucks coffee. Outside patio with comfortable chairs and firepit was perfect for evening gatherings. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable and we had a balcony with great view of the Banana River and pool. Close proximity to shops, restaurants and Ron Jon surf shop. Pleasant and helpful staff too. Shout out to Ellen at the front desk for going above and beyond with customer service.

We checked in super late to the hotel and Kim was able to help us with everything. She was very friendly and went above and beyond.

I have had the good fortune of staying at this property for dozens of nights over a nubmer of years for business related reasons. I must say that the level of engagement, service and care I have experienced is consistently some of the best experinces I have had in my travels. Theresa, the manager of the property is always attentive to my requests and in her absence, her well trained staff is always available. During my last trip this past week, I was overwhelmed by the complete upgrade of this property. I think every surface, room, piece of furniture, carpeting, and fixtures in the room were replaced and upgraded. If you were showing up for the first time, you would think that the hotel had just opened. It is that upgraded and attractive. I look forward to my next trip the the Marriott Cocoa Beach hotel.

I travel a lot, and have seen customer support drop in the last year, but every time I stay at the Courtyard Coco Beach, they exceed my expectations and remind me that some places will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure customer loyalty. Dontavious and Leslie are superstars in the the hotel business and always go above an beyond to make me feel welcome, and always make sure that I can focus on work, because they have the hotel and hospitality covered.

We stayed at the courtyard Cape Canaveral for 1 night prior to a cruise out of Port Canaveral. We stayed in room 322. The room was clean and it obviously was recently renovated. The front desk staff were also friendly. The hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and even a supermarket. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.
