Excellent location to Truist Park and Braves and all the entertainment in that district. Recommend higher floor and corner room.

If you accidentally leave any personal belongings in the room when you check out, just know that you will NEVER get a call back from the hotel about it, let alone ever get your belongings back. I've called four times, spoken to two people, left two messages and they don't even have the courtesy to call me back to let me know if they still have my stuff that was left in clear view in the closet. Other cons: hard and uncomfortable beds, maintenance banging on your door at 10:30 p.m. without prior warning to check for leaks, expensive parking, long walk across busy roads to the stadium.

I stayed with my cousin who booked the reservation. She told me it would be close to the Chris Brown concert and that she had stayed here before without any issues, but this time was completely different. The check-in process was very long, which was understandable since everyone was in town for the concert. The front desk staff were moving guests through as quickly as they could, and while it felt more transactional than welcoming, that was also understandable with such a large crowd. The real problems started when we returned from the concert around 11:45 PM and waited about 20 minutes in line to place a food order at the bar, only for the manager to announce at midnight that the kitchen was closed and not taking any more orders. After waiting that long, being turned away like that was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the bartender had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever seen. She didn’t greet us, didn’t acknowledge us, and looked like she didn’t want to be bothered at all. The server also seemed uninterested in taking care of guests. Whether it was the late hour or not, that kind of attitude is unprofessional. The next morning at breakfast, we encountered a tall, heavyset man who seemed to be staring at us like security, and when he finally spoke, it came off unpleasant and unwelcoming. We later found out he was the Food and Beverage Director, which explains a lot, because if leadership has this kind of attitude toward guests, it’s no surprise the staff the night before were so disengaged. On Sunday, my cousins went down for lunch only to discover the restaurant doesn’t even open for lunch, which might be fine on a normal weekend, but when you know you have hundreds of concert guests staying at your hotel, it makes no sense not to plan ahead. The rooms were another major disappointment—old, outdated, and feeling more like a budget hotel from the 90s than a Marriott. The breakfast itself wasn’t much better, with limited choices and none of the amenities I’ve come to expect at other Marriott properties, such as an omelet or waffle station. Overall, this stay was a terrible experience from beginning to end. While I can understand that high occupancy puts pressure on staff, basic hospitality should not disappear. Guests are spending their money and deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism. I hope the General Manager sees this review, because between the outdated rooms, poor food and beverage service, lack of planning for busy weekends, and weak leadership, this hotel has a lot of work to do. Until those changes happen, I would not recommend this property.

I think this could possibly be the oldest run down Marriott property I have ever stayed at it is so bad that their rating on their own official website is the worst (below 4 last I checked) but let me begin with the positives - staff at check in and breakfast are decent ,breakfast food is same but good in taste and quality , now the negatives - rooms are tiny I am 5 feet 11 and I can touch the ceiling if I try so if you are claustrophobic then avoid they have carpets all over which are old , dirty and with mold the air conditioners is old and noisy the whole ambience in room was so bad that I had to be on allergy medication. Pool is small but I did not use . I think hotels in the US anyway cannot compare to the hotels in Asia but this time I couldn’t help but compare because two days before staying here I started in the courtyard in Gurgaon (India) and the difference was like hell and heaven I would recommend the GM of the Altlanta hotel should visit a few in ASIA to see the difference

Well first they didn’t have my room so they gave me a double bed instead then I woke up the next morning to my car broken into. They had cleaned up the scene and they told me that this area has a blind spot with the cameras, even though they’ve been broken into before They could not show me who broke in. I don’t know how they only broke into the cars in the Blindspot and then they asked me that they would contact their insurance because it was very unfortunate. However, once that happened, their risk management guy used the there are signs Excuse. And they still charged me for parking!

While the rooms in this hotel could use a refresh, it had one of the nicest gyms, especially for a hotel of its size, I have ever seen. Beautiful gym facility. It also had a restaurant and shop for small food items.
