The minute we stepped onto the Fernhill grounds, we knew we had found something special. When we were taken on a tour and we were brough to the ballroom, seen owner Michael pushing his grandkids on a cart along laughing, we instantly felt the relaxing and family atmosphere of the venue. Ann, our wedding co-ordinator was phenomenal to work with. She was available to answer questions at all the different stages and was amazing at supporting us in making decisions. Fast forward to our wedding day, we struck luck with a glorious day – blue skies for miles. The staff could not have been any more accommodating. Laura made sure everything went smoothly on the morning before the ceremony and Neil was on hand in the background to ensure everything was on schedule. They have everything down to a fine tune. The gardens, the marquee, the dining room and bedrooms are just outstanding. But OMG…. The food – chef’s kiss! We know we have only mentioned a few people by name but in Fernhill, it really takes a village! The staff interact with each other positively and each of them wanted to be there. The service was 5 Star. I have never been at a function where everybody in the room is served and eats at the same time. It was so nice to take a moment and see everyone eating together and enjoying themselves. The night moved into morning for some members of the wedding party. We would love to thank Michael ‘the singing barman’, for singing a tune and adding an already day. We think back to our day and its very hard to put into words how amazing it was. But let us say this, there is nothing we would change from start to finish. Thank you for being such an important part of wedding and we can’t wait to visit for our anniversary.

My wife Niamh and I held our wedding reception in Fernhill in May 2024. From the moment we first reached out to Ann, she and the team at Fernhill were incredible. They leave no stone unturned ensuring everything runs smoothly. The gardens and function room are amazing and perfect for photos. The rooms are also stunning. We had a big wedding and the food and service was top notch. Our friends and family are still raving about the food and exclusivity of Fernhill. We were made feel so special and couldn't recommend it more to anyone thinking of having their wedding there. We wish we could do it all over again! Looking forward to visiting again this summer. A special mention to all the O'Neill family, the fantastic singing bar man (a huge hit with everyone) and the fantastic wedding coordinator Ann! Love Jack & Niamh

We had our wedding in Fernhill last January. We had a wonderful experience with all the staff of Fernhill. Ann, the wedding coordinator made sure the planning process was smooth and everything was easily dealt with. Fernhill was beautifully decorated for Christmas and every additional touch was thought of. The food was exceptional with one of our guests commenting that it was the best meal he had ever had at a wedding. We would recommend Fernhill to anyone getting married.

Absolutely loved my stay at Fernhill House Hotel for my sister's wedding! The setting is simply gorgeous, surrounded by beautiful gardens that made for the perfect backdrop for all the wedding photos. The bedroom I shared with my cousin was amazing – super comfy and spacious, with everything we needed to feel right at home. But what really stood out were the staff. They were genuinely lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the little touches throughout our stay, you could tell they truly care about their guests. (Except they did test the mics for the reception very loudly as the wedding ceremony was happening! Eek, don’t do that again!) Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can't recommend Fernhill House Hotel enough for any special occasion! Five stars all the way! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had our reception at the Fernhill House Hotel in February 2024 and had a fantastic day! The food was out of this world, all our guests still talk about it to this day. Anne, the O'Neill family and all the team were wonderful before, during and after our wedding day. We can't thank them enough! We would definitely recommend the Fernhill House Hotel as a wedding venue. We can't wait to go back.

We had our wedding in Fernhill in May. We were blown away by the service from every member of staff, especially Ann and extended wedding planner team! The hotel grounds are beautiful. Hotel is spotless and you can tell that it's family owned from how personal the staff are. 10 out of 10!
