TownePlace Suites Clarksville

First the pros. The hotel lobby is welcoming and clean. The bed was comfortable. Employees are friendly. I liked having a refrigerator as well. Now the cons. Our room was 228. Our windows were level to part of the roof. Like, we could have opened the windows and climbed onto it. When we got to our room, both of our windows were open about an inch. Ummm…what?! We wouldn’t have noticed if we wouldn’t have opened our curtains. That’s unsettling in the least. We closed them and locked them. Then, in the evening as we were winding down, I went to lock the deadbolt. It wouldn’t lock. Even my husband tried to lock it. We propped a small table up against it so it would fall if jarred. We both felt unsafe, but it was only one night so we rolled the dice. (Good news! We made it through the night!) There was also something broken on the bathtub wall and the broken piece was just sitting there on the tub. ??? The hot food was either too soggy or too dry. Potatoes, sausage (soggy) biscuits, and a fold over dry omlet. Not great. Pictures attached.

I had a large group in-house. The hotel is incredibly clean. The staff is amazing! Everyone is friendly and professional! Kudos to Neesya, the GM! She leads by example and pitches in where ever necessary to get the job done! Staff could not have been more accommodating. Special shoutout to Michelle who goes above and beyond! My group had a lot of moving pieces and they handled it with grace. The rooms are large and comfortable. Beds are nice and there’s a choice of pillows. The showers had great water pressure and nice shower heads. The breakfast had a solid selection of options and was tasty. Breakfast area and lobby were spotless with touch-ups happening throughout the day. Location, location, location! Walkable to anything you might want or need: tons of restaurants, Walmart, shopping mall (.2miles),and more. This will be my go to when in Clarksville.

The best overall hotel experience I have had in a while. Very clean and excellent location. Close to so many restaurants and shopping. You don’t even have to get on the highway to get to WalMart. Every associate I encountered was so pleasant ! Good breakfast too! So refreshing to see ! Kudos to management!!

Awesome hotel. Clean, safe location and many restaurants nearby. Yummy breakfast on ground floor. Ryan , Shane and the rest of the staff provided a superb hospitality experience. Highly recommend this property. Cheers 😎

Nice overnight stop, right off Route 24 in Clarksville area. The suites were large and well-designed with comfortable bedding. They had a large indoor pool too. Several hotels and restaurants nearby.

Stayed one night on way home from vacation. Good location, tucked back in off Hwy 24. Hotel is known for extended stays, we had a suite which has the bedroom separated from the living area. Small full kitchen, plenty of cooking utensils and tons of storage. Bath was nice and bright with a good shower. Within walking distance of several restaurants and driving distance of many more. Located next to a large WalMart. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. Indoor pool and small snack area. We would stay again.

We were staying in a suite with a kitchenette and had a large bag of groceries on the counter. This is reasonable. The cleaning crew took and disposed of our groceries. We immediately contacted the front desk they assured us a note was in the file for the manager to contact us. A different desk crew the next morning confirmed this note and indicated the manager would contact us and reimburse us for our loss. This was over 5 days ago. We have heard nothing from the manager, the hotel or Marriott. Avoid this place. Customer Service is horrible, and even if you reasonably purchase food to eat in the kitchenette, the staff will just throw it away, and you will end up paying for a room -- mediocre at best - and for food that you will never get to eat.

Will not refund my points!!! Had to return open home for an emergency. Mobile check in but did not access my room. Marriott told me they would cancel my room and refund my points- That did NOT happen.

Spring break flight home canceled and the only timely way back was to drive 1300 miles. Spent one evening in Clarksville, TN. The staff at TownesPlace was great. Check-in was welcoming and easy. The room was tidy and very well appointed. Breakfast was wonderful. Elizabeth takes great pride in keeping everything right as rain and her pride and effort shines through. Very clean, orderly and well stocked hot and cold breakfast choices. Only disappointment being the hotel was out of complimentary oral care kits. Marriott.com website was down for several hours so when we rolled into town we were unable to book with Bonvoy points. No matter, we secured the room with a credit card and assumed a call to member services would fix all. Very disappointed in Bonvoy customer service. They were unable to help. The local staff was wonderful and managed to finally put things right. Special thanks to General Manager Michael for going that extra step to fix the booking issue. We accidentally left an electric toothbrush behind and are still sorting that issue but I’m confident it will be remedied. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.
