Food was really tasty and hot. Lots of toast and beautiful brown bread. Really clean and the staff are very friendly. Couldn't fault it at all. It wasn't expensive at all either. Have came here every time we come to claremorris and we've never ever had a bad experience..

Possible one of the best weekends I ever had a away from start to finish the staff at the dalton inn made my stay such a treat the rooms were clean and warm, the food was outstanding and the atmosphere around the hotel was warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in claremorris. I personally cannot wait to go back :)

Good value, friendly service and good old fashioned food from the carvery. Simple but nice and always there if you need a meal. The Dalton has been going for years and offers the hungry traveller a solid meal for a fair price.

Four of us stayed in two rooms for two nights at the Dalton in in September 2017. Most Americans might find the rooms small, but we all found them charming and more than enough for the purposes of our trip. Our rooms were on an upper floor in a rear corner so we did not experience any street noise... not that you'd have a lot anyway. The hotel restaurant and bar was very welcoming and food was available late, after other restaurants in the area had stopped serving, so that was a nice feature. If you are yourself or are travelling with an older adult with mobility issues, navigating the stairs might be a challenge especially with luggage. Other than that, I recommend the Dalton.

I hadn't been for a few years due to personal circumstances but I really enjoyed my stay. The owners are friendly and the food was very nice. The prices are reasonable for Ireland. I am looking forward to returning soon. The hotel is ideally located for visiting other areas around Mayo.

In the last few months we have stopped twice in the Dalton in for a meal. As a family of 2 adults and 2 children it has a great menu. The food is delicious and piping hot. The staff are very friendly and attentive, great overall service. Will definitely be back when passing through again

Andrew who works in this hotel is an absolute star..... He went above the call of duty to help my son who needed a room late on a Sunday night. Andrew even collected him from the train station..... His help was so appreciated

Stayed two nights, food was 6/10. Pints were not keeping head in glass. Food was savage, and huge portions! Quick professional service staff Staff lovely and chatty! Rooms were in need of a lock of paint. Very cold at night even though radiator was hot 🤷♂️ I will return

The hotel es cosy, clean , relaxing, with friendly staff and close to all the shops in the town, the food in carvery hours are delicious and fresh! i recommend it if u want to explore the town and enjoy few drinks in the hotel and other different bars in town.
