This place should have been better for the price. First off, the room looked like it was designed by an angry matador... cold grey with a big red stripe down the center. The artwork resembled something found under a microscope, but design choices are each to their own. What's not subjective is that the carpeting and couch were stained in a way that made you not want to touch anything. Housekeeping did a good job as far as they could, but these were deep ingrained stains. The furniture was really worn, and MDF doesn't wear well. There was also no hair dryer in the room; minor yes, but it was just one more little thing. The room listing I chose said "suite," but it really was just a slightly larger room with a couch that didn't match the term suite in any other hotel at which I've stayed (and I've been to a lot). So overall, I just wanted to leave and was glad it was just for one night.

Check in staff was very friendly, the room was as expected, clean and comfortable. The work out room, however, was not clean. The floor was dirty, and not all from a days use. Water on the floor under machines and no paper towels or towels at all. We love Holiday Inn and will continue to stay but not the experience we usually have.
