Wolverhampton City Centre

My room cost £200 - parking was extra and this did not include any meal deals. I tried to phone 3 times the day of my arrival trying to get information about the route from the train station to the hotel. As I vaguely remembered that there was a short cut. Despite phoning on three different occasions there was no pick up. My room was shabby with paint peeling . It was at least quiet. At £200 a night never have I paid so much for so little. For £200 elsewhere you get a lovely breakfast, plush toiletries and even a chocolate on the pillow. The absolute worst thing is - the restaurant nearby. I asked if the hotel could book me a table and they said I’d need to pop in. Again, no good service here. The restaurant said - and I quote: ‘you can only have a table if you are paying cash. Our system is down.’ No apology - and I even heard the lady in charge saying it had been like this since the night before. Oh Premier Inn you’ve lost your way. You’ve become a rip off hotel - the good night guarantee is long gone. I used to book Prems as I knew they would be reasonably priced, with a guaranteed meal nearby and parking. All important as a lone female business traveller. Being told that you’d have to walk 15 minutes in an unknown place to a cash point isn’t great. What a rip off, what poor service - sad times.

Excellent location just around the corner from Wolverhampton train station Easy check inn , restaurant closed at the moment but after an overnight stay we had a wonderful breakfast, room nice, clean with a bath, double bed and bathroom with shower, great staff and great food.

Stayed for 3 nights (Fri-Mon) , had early check in as requested, room was clean and tidy (316) , lifts worked well, had 3 very good nights sleep found the area to be very quiet. Had breakfast on 3 occasions, the food was excellent (especially the scrambled egg) thank you to Tracey & John for the Friday & Monday the lady in charge on Saturday was also extremely helpful, all in all a very enjoyable stay and only 25 minutes walk from the Wulfrun Hall with a couple of stops on the way especially at the nearby Great Western Pub which was excellent, and only 5 minutes from the Station.

Great staff, and you get what you pay for. However, there were guests above my room making considerable amounts of noise on both days of my stay. It was like there was a corridor above my room. Upon informing reception, the noise continued, and I was informed that numerous other guests have had the same issue. I have tried to contact guest relations, but the website doesn't allow me to!

The hotel room looked really nice. The bed was the best- it was very comfortable and we had a good night sleep. Another good thing was the heating in the room worked excellently. We were provided an extra mobile heating just in case also. The problem we had with this room was the fact that the toilet flusher required a lot of man power and both hands to flush the toilet and even at that it won’t flush properly. The shower didn’t have a hand held shower- we weren’t informed else I would have brought a shower cap. The only solution was to use a towel and avoid the shower pouring down my hair- that was sooooo stressful! The TV in bedroom isn’t smart- have a lot of old channels that are not relevant to this present age. It would have been best to have Netflix/Prime video options The washing sink wasn’t releasing water. We reported it and that was fixed. The hotel is in a very central location but a lot of modern upgrade would really make it worth the while!!
