Atz&H Inn

Arrived to find windows boarded up and no one at property. My partner booked this hotel back in Nov 2022 we were attending a concert nearby lucky enough another hotel nearby had rooms available. Now fighting to get a refund from ********** whatever you do avoid booking this as it’s not a hotel anymore.

08/04/23 DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. The hotel has changed ownership. They are still using sites such as ********** and *********** to take bookings. Apparently the money is going to the old owners. When you arrive they force you to pay again in cash and tell you to try to get your money back from the sites. The sites will not give you a refund. No cash points near by in a very dodgy area. Again DO NOT BOOK!

We stayed at the hotel as a last minute booking because the premier inn was full, it was cheap and the reviews were ok. We rang up before to make sure we had a bath in our room and the gentleman dealing with us ‘Tariq’ was really accommodating and sorted that for us, going to the trouble of moving us rooms at no extra cost. We arrived at the ATZ&H hotel (terrible name for a hotel) just before 3pm, we weren’t expecting much after reading previous reviews, needless to say that we were still a bit surprised….. Small carpark which held a max of 4 cars, we have taken photos of the surroundings as it was like a fly tipping place! The road is littered with run down buildings too. We entered the nice entrance to the hotel and was greeted by Tariq who is a nice gentleman, he showed us to our room (room 12) on the 3rd floor. Once in the room we were quiet surprised how run down and in need of a refurb it was. Cleanliness:- bedding clean, the room had spiderwebs on the wall, hairs in the bath, walls with some kind of bodily fluid smeared on it! Amenities:- two waters provided, shower gel in the bathroom and a bar of soap, coffee and tea with biscuits. Room appearance:- dents in the wall, light fittings without a light on it just a wire with tape on it! Sky lights with damaged covers. Bathroom:- dirty bath, no hot water in the morning. Fittings on the wall without rail. Holes in the wall around taps not filled in. Grouting which was dirty and tiles not clean. Cheap and cheerful but the management really needs to think about the housekeeping and a lick of paint wouldn’t hurt, we won’t be staying there again.

Whilst the accommodation was adequate and the initial impression was ok. The breakfast was woeful…see photo for explanation also No drinks offered in the 30 minutes we waited for our breakfast to arrive and left waiting in a very cold restaurant with no lights on and very poor communication from the only staff member! Would not recommend and will not be returning again

My third stay here. I’m a regular at gigs at Robin. Always found it totally ok. The area around it could do with a bit of tlc but always clean and comfortable. Apparently some guests spend all their time inspecting every nook and cranny. Life’s to short. If in Bilston. This is the place to stay. I will be back in October.❤️❤️❤️👌
