Superb hotel. Luxury feel to every room & the hotel as a whole. a wonderful, convenient to cirencester setting attached to a fantastic restaurant. Helpful staff throughout our stay. Comfortable bed & lovely en suite made for a lovely weekend break.

Quirky hotel with unique decor a short walk from Cirencester city centre. Lovely hotel lounge. Lots of stairs so not good for those with mobility issues or large suitcases. I had booked a Signature Super King room for mine and my sister's birthday celebrations. We were allocated Needham room. While the room itself was very nice, (with a comfortable bed, and nice shower with good water pressure), there were issues. We were truly disappointed that the windows were frosted over so you couldn't see out the windows and very little light came through. It felt a bit like a basement room because of that. Secondly the Chromecast on the TV did not work (and yes we were connected to the wifi etc). I see other reviews have mentioned this issue in that room. Thirdly the noise was bad. We could hear every word from the room opposite (including them knocking on their door, which sounded like our door, at 4:30am) and the live music downstairs did keep us up. The breakfast was very nice. There was a problem with payment at check out. The receptionist tried my card twice and said it wasn't going through as if the problem was on my end when I knew it wasn't. My sister offered her card which was very embarrassing as the hotel stay was supposed to be her birthday present. Hers didn't go through either, so obviously a problem on the hotel's end. Eventually was sent a payment link that worked. On top of this, I was told in more than 1 email before arrival that the parking in the car park opposite would be free all day on Sundays. I realise the car park is not part of the hotel, but this information is misleading as it was in fact a lie and it's a good thing we happened to check what it said at the car park or else we would have been charged - I did go back to reception to mention this and was told this would be passed on to management but be aware of this. Overall a nice hotel but was hoping to have less disappointment during this celebratory weekend.

What a great find. A Manor House, beautifully furnished with the rarity of a guest lounge. I stayed in room 5 which had everything you could possibly desire in a hotel room: space, comfy bed, full length mirror, decent tv, coffee machine, fresh milk, huge bottle of chilled water, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, easy to use thermostat, opening windows and well equipped bathroom with toiletries and fluffy towels. Newsletter on desk gives you all the information you need while at the hotel including menu for the attached restaurant (which I didn’t have time to sample). Public car park opposite is free from 6pm to 8am. Lovely welcome from lady in reception who helped me with bags to the room .., there are no lifts (only downside I can find!). I will be back.

Lovely venue with a super restaurant. Service was excellent and staff both professional and friendly.

We thought this was a very good, stylish, hotel and we enjoyed our stay. We had a theatre package, which was well managed and worked very well. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Only downsides were the heat of the room (Lewis), which stayed a constant 25-26 degrees day/ night despite the aircon. How it did this remains a mystery. Long wait for breakfast on day 2, but reasons given. Confusion over bill, but sorted satisfactorily. Overall, we would happily stay again.
