Hotel Casa Giraldo

I am giving one star to everything because when we arrived at the gate to the property, I could not even go in. They could not find my booking - done 4 months before. We arrived with our tour guide at the gate, and they said they were fully booked and had no room available. They did not let our vehicle in - we sat at the driveway outside for a while waiting. A lady came out to say they were fully booked and could not find our reservation. She brought the phone with the owner to apologize (which did nothing to alleviate the fact we had flown in that day and were left without a place to stay). Would have loved to see the place - but unfortunately, had to go somewhere else. The next afternoon the owner texted my phone number (which I assume they suddenly found?), and offered a free stay. It was unfortunately too late for us, and frankly, it was a nightmare to find another place the night before. I am a seasoned traveler, and this has never happened to us. It was very unfortunate. If you are considering this place, make sure they have your reservation. It may not matter, as I showed my confirmation by email to them and they just apologized and said they were fully booked. Terrible experience.

Una propuesta de hotel boutique excelente. ENGLISH BELOW De este hotel lo que más destaco y recuerdo es la amabilidad de sus colaboradores...nos sentimos completamente.a gusto con la atención y servicio, en verdad, se nota la vocación de sus trabajadores. Las habitaciones...espectaculares, no son gigantes pero sí pero muy cómodas, todo de excelente calidad, la cama, los tendidos, etc. El desayuno era un típico desayuno paisa con arepa y huevo pero siempre de buena calidad y con jugos frescos, etc. Nos encantó la posibilidad de reservar el jacuzzi cada día para nosotros...que excelente forma de darle prioridad y privacidad a cada grupo de huéspedes, espero que nunca cambien este sistema! Recomiendo reservarlo tipo 6 para que vean el atardecer más divino desde ahí...También la propuesta de la chimenea en las zonas comunes es deliciosa en las noches. Es un hotel perfecto para planes románticos, de hecho debería ser solo para adultos, eso lo haría perfecto! Está masomenos a 10 mins de armenia...muy bien ubicado pero si se necesita carro para moverse por ahí. ENGLISH An excellent boutique hotel. What I remember most about this hotel is the kindness of its staff...we felt completely at ease with the attention and service, you can feel the passion of the staff to provide excellent service. The rooms...spectacular, they are not gigantic but very comfortable, and everything is of excellent quality, the bed, the linens, etc. The breakfast was a typical paisa breakfast with arepa and eggs but always of good quality and with fresh juices, etc. We loved the possibility of boooking the jacuzzi each day for us...what an excellent way to give priority and privacy to each group of guests, I hope they never change this system! I recommend booking it around 6pm to see the most beautiful sunset from there...Also, the ability to book the fireplace in the common areas is great in the chilly evenings. It is a perfect hotel for a romantic escape, in fact, it should be for adults only, that would make it perfect! It's located around 10 minutes outside armenia...very well located but you do need a car to get around.

Me encantó este hotel de lujo de 6 habitaciones , me alojé en la suite deluxe de 77 mts , destaco la atención de Victor, Margarita , y Claudia y del resto del personal . El trato es personalizado cocinan en el momento al igual que el desayuno .todo más que perfecto y lo hacen sentir muy cómodo a uno . Gracias por todo , Gladys
