The rooms are really nice, what a great family trip, the lodge was amazing and relaxing while all the staff left us feeling like we were at home. The snowmobile club did a great job with keeping all the trails groomed and marked, it was nice to ride right from the lodge. The food was great and some of the best cheese curds around. I’d rate this as one of Colorados hidden gems for a family outing❤️❤️

Very nice mountain lodge. Charming location and nice ambiance. Excellent for a mountain adventure and vacation. Awesome accommodations with very comfortable rooms and beds. The restaurant is wonderful as well. The food and drinks are delicious. Overall amazing time at the lodge.

The place for a great mountain getaway. A beautiful location in Gunnison Country, Colorado. The accommodations are amazing. Very relaxing time here. The restaurant is open for both dine-in and take-out, and features a seasonal menu. The food is great.

Amazing spot for a getaway. Arrowhead Mountain Lodge provides great accommodations with nicely maintained rooms. The team is wonderful and make the experience that much better. The food at the Little Blue Tavern is exceptional as well. Also like their online ordering system for food and drinks for takeout/pickup.

Arrowhead Mountain Lodge is really good. The accommodations are awesome. Great rooms and common areas. The restaurant here is amazing. The food is delicious. The burgers, pizzas and sandwiches are tasty. The beers and cocktails are wonderful too.

This place is a joke. My husband and I book a room here for one night and it was the ultimate Bates Motel experience. Moldy smelling room, dogs barking and whimpering at night, and obnoxius guests slamming doors through the night. There was no staff on site to check us in. When we asked an employee from the restaurant, we were told that they were on a break and that we will have to wait. Food was mediocre at best and kind of pricey for fried food. The pictures you see on their website are deceiving. Place looks more like a BBQ honky tonk place than a lodge. Our room had a fan attached by a rope to an open window for ventilation. You have two choices. Leave the window open for ventilation and hear every conversation that is going on outside, plus the music they have playing or close the window and choke on the strange moldy smell. I got the impression that guests are left on their own if something happens after hours. There is a phone on the lobby for instructions to call in case of an emergency. So if something happens, hope for the best, say a prayer and call 911. There are better places to stay in the area . Stay away from this one.

Well worth the 5-mile trip on the unpaved but very well-maintained access road from State Route 50, this unique inn’s restaurant is a gathering place for area community residents and visitors. Waitstaff greet visitors and familiar customers cheerfully; menu is more elaborate than expected.Modern rooms have eclectic decor that resonates with the rural surroundings. Luxurious comfy bed. Gas fireplace warms your body and soul. Generous range of breakfast items are set up the night before to allow early risers easy access. Black Canyon Park is fairly nearby. Open year-round, serves local snowmobile trail riders. Check with staff about access road conditions. Note that Route 50 is closed this year for bridge replacement east of Arrowhead, so plan to drive in from Montrose.

Crazy great place. We had gone on this trip winging it for hotels between Denver and Page Arizona. Incredibly this place had an open room as it is too cool to miss. The manager called us back after making the reservation from the road since the canyon in would be completely closed to traffic overnight and if we were not in line at the 45 minute sop light into the canyo already it was a 4 hour drive around and not worth coming. Fortunately we were there and arrived at dusk. They were having a birthday party and cake in the lobby for an employee and asked us if we wanted some. They all seemed to know who we were cuz they all knew only one room was left. Light but adequate continental breakfast in morning and this wa w pretty wonderful find for a random last minute overnight stay. /we will go for a longer stay in the future. Bar closes early and is a big OFF road area and rental place next door. Lots of wild life and an amazing place for the remoteness. They had a reunion coming in and positing list of live music on weekends. This is not su much a road stop as a place to go we just got lucky.
