Motel 6 Youngstown, Oh

The room was very nice, very hot water which I love and it was clean. Sid, the person at the desk when we got here was very professional and kind. We were exhausted at this point and his speed of service and getting us into our room was wonderful. The ladies the next morning were as well. One thing I wish is that the room had a microwave, especially for extended stays. We started off with a day and ended up staying for three. I dont know if other rooms have them but I know ours did not. The only other thing is the people in the rooms around ours were very loud running in and out of their room, bangi g the doors, and playing loud music all at 1 in the morning. I dont know when they stopped as I eventually fell asleep out of that same exhaustion. Thank you so much Motel 6!

No electricity. Receptionist was very rude and refused to let us check in or exlain what was going on. Instead he just called the cops on us and kicked us from the property!

This is easily one of the dirtiest, loudest, and sketchiest motels I've ever stayed at - and I've traveled cross-country by car several times. I was in Room 312 is still missing its towel bar and toilet paper holder (a previous review mentioned this over a year ago!). It appears that there are several long-term residents at this motel, many of which wander the property late into the night yelling obscenities and contributing to a general feeling of discomfort. This place is cheap, but spend the extra $30 and get yourself any other hotel in Youngstown.

My stay was good. The WiFi worked great. Would heavily recommend anyone to stay if they need somewhere to flop at. The staff was courteous and helpful. The lighting was okay. The bathroom was okay. A good place to stay for the night. There's really not anything I want to add

We stayed here twice in Sept. 2023. We require an accessible room due to my disability. The first time we were given a room (312) in the back building which seems to be mostly occupied by long term guests. The room was horrible--missing towel rod, missing toilet paper holder, loose toilet seat... also a very sketchy looking hole in the ceiling, probably from an old smoke alarm but couldn't shake the feeling that there may have been a camera up there! The room had a spacious roll-in shower, but no shower chair. When we inquired if they had any, we were told a curt, "No." We had stayed here a year or so ago and had a better experience, so decided to book another room for our return trip. This room was in the front section, but my husband had to argue with the attendant for 15 minutes, since the promised room had been given away to family or friends of the manager, which she said if his prerogative. I had specifically reserved a room with the grab bar to the left of the toilet, due to my disability. So we ended up with a room with the grab bar on the opposite side and a tub/shower which didn't really matter since I hadn't planned to shower anyway since there are no shower chairs and I'm not able to stand to shower. I don't believe they should be able to advertise accessible rooms without shower chairs being provided. At least the maintenance in this room was better than the other one, so we had a place to stay the night, but won't be staying again. Cleanliness wasn't bad except for the floor, which was filthy. Laminate floors seem like they would be so easy to clean compared to carpets, but these hadn't seen a mop in a long time.
