"The hotel is very close to the Kyushu Shinkansen "Chikugo Funeoko" station, about a quarter of an hour's walk. It was dark when we arrived. The next morning, we opened the window and the cool fresh air rushed in. The clear Yabe River was planted with cherry trees, which must be beautiful in spring. On the other side was a 300-year-old camphor forest. The hotel breakfast was traditional Japanese, delicious and nutritious."

"The view from the window was nice and we were very comfortable. thank you very much. Everyone at the restaurant was kind. The water is very good. I was looking forward to it when I heard that, and since the river is right next to it, I wanted the body wash in the bath to be made with soap or other products that have less impact on the environment. It was very disappointing that the water that came out of the shower hose in the bathroom and the water that came out of the faucet in the room smelled like PVC from the hose. I think it would be more in line with the times to not have plastic amenities. Everything else was clean and comfortable."
