Hacienda Chichen Resort and Yaxkin Spa

We were scheduled to stay at another hotel (through Trip.com) which ended up being closed down. Rather than simply refund our money, Trip.com was VERY helpful and offered to secure another place for us, at their own expense. SO, we ended up at Hacienda Chichen. I have no words for it. The most serene, other-worldly, back to nature, classy, historic place I think I have ever visited. Exquisite is the best word for it. The grounds, the rooms, the pool, the food; it was truly a SANCTUARY. If you want a place to completely restore your soul and sense, choose Hacienda Chichen. Nothing else compares.

Hacienda is a prestigious and exclusive resort ! We are deeply impressed by the quality of the service! The staff, Adrian and the entire team, were exceptional. The food was fabulous! The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable!. Very helpful and I would definitely come back .

The Hacienda is located about a five minute drive to Chichen Itza. If the archeological sites are your destination then this is a very good place to stay at. The Hacienda is very peaceful, aesthetically beautiful, very friendly staff. On arrival the staff greeted us with a refreshing complimentary drink that helped with the hot weather. I rented 2 rooms for 5 people, three kids and two adults. We got a very charming cabin that had 2 rooms next to each other. The kids stayed in one room and the facility felt very safe. I don't know why some people said in their reviews that the Hacienda is very strict on outside food. My kids took fruit with them in the room and I never heard any complaints from the staff. The rooms did not have a TV which I am grateful it didn't. The point is to enjoy the facility not be in the room watching TV. The swimming pool was perfect, it was very peaceful and it looks beautiful at night. The restaurant is peaceful, the food is not only delicious but is presented in a creative beautiful way that is pleasing to the eye. The prices are resort prices which I was already expecting, but I didn't mind paying since I have spent way more at the Cheesecake Factory and the food is not as great as what I experienced at the Hacienda. I would definitely stay in this place again.

What a beautiful place run by an owner and staff that care. Not many hotels have got sacred mayan caves and old churches in their grounds, surrounded lush tropical gardens. The restaurant is also quality, a little expensive but worth for the food and ambience.

Hacienda Chichen is such a lush and lovely place. Plants, flowers and birds everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay at the hacienda. A special thanks to Adrián for making our stay even greater. Adrián gave us a great tour of the hacienda, garden, church, gallery and cave on the property.
