I recently stayed at this hotel and, overall, had a decent experience. The rooms were spacious and relatively clean, making for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was quite good, and it seems like the quality has improved from previous reviews, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is excellent—very close to the Saturday night market and only a 20-minute walk to the city center.
Service, for the most part, was great. The female staff and the gentleman working during breakfast were particularly friendly, professional, and helpful. However, my experience at the reception upon check-in was shockingly bad, due to two younger male staff members. Their customer service was among the worst I’ve ever encountered—rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. They interrupted me while I was explaining my concerns rather than trying to provide solutions. There was no water in the room upon arrival, the room wasn’t what I had originally booked, and they refused to provide two key cards even though the reservation was for two guests. To make matters worse, they required a deposit for a second key card, which I’ve never heard of before.
While the hotel has some great aspects, the terrible reception experience left a lasting negative impression. Because of this, I will not be returning.
