We paid for early check in and everything was ready when we arrived. First impressions were that the corridor linking the pub to the hotel had quite a damp fusty odour so I wasn’t expecting to be impressed, but from the minute we arrived at reception we could not have been treated any better. The lady on reception was fabulous, friendly and really helpful. We arrived in our room to find a minor problem but this was sorted immediately. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm enough and exceptionally clean. A lovely hotel with staff to be proud of

Great stay as always the receptionist Emma was so polite and helpful and easy on the eyes the room was clean and tidy the breakfast was great and the chef was a nice lad evening food was hot and tasty I had the katsu curry all staff seemed friendly

Always a good night's sleep at Premier Inn and staff are always friendly, special thank you to Daniel who rang me after we had returned home to say I had left a charger in the room, he said he would send it to me and I didn't need to pay postage, would definitely recommend Premier Inn Chesterfield North, great location and easy walk into Chesterfield

Big fans of Premier Inn and have stayed at numerous locations up and down the country. The consistent thing is their consistency! Friendly and efficient staff, comfortable rooms and always a good night's sleep. Brewers Fayre restaurant attached so again, you know what you are going to get if you want to eat there. Location is good and free parking is a plus.

Yet another beautiful stay at Chesterfield North. The staff were warm and friendly. Clean outside, and inside, clean curtains, clean room and bathroom. I only have 1 issue, and that was the pillows being too flat. But that is preference. I'll be back.

We love the Premier Inn at Tapton Lock Hill! The staff are friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are always clean and well stocked with essentials. The beds are super comfy and it's lovely and quiet there. The breakfasts are awesome and the restaurant lovely with quick service and delicious food. Staying here has become our Christmas treat each year when we visit family nearby.

We arrived at this hotel early and asked if we could have an early check in. The reception was excellent, she went to check if our room was ready, unfortunately it wasn’t however she moved a few things around and got us a room that was available. She was extremely helpful. We went in the room and it was spotless and smelled clean. We had a great nights sleep in the big comfy bed, and a great shower the following morning, breakfast plentiful but was busy. We had a great day out at Chatsworth, followed by a visit to the tree festival at the Crooked Spire which was recommended by the receptionist. We will definitely be back next year.

Typical premier inn. You know what to expect and it delivered. Check in was a bit farcical due to having originally booked the other one in town that’s now closed. Then the key machine didn’t work! The room smelt a bit musty! Despite all that it didn’t spoil a good stop

Positives The bed was very comfortable, room was clean, and we had a great night's sleep. Constructive The breakfast looked lovely, and was served from very hot pots and dishes, BUT everything was cold. The shower was a rain pan, which just did not have the power.
