Baytree Lodge Chester

We were a family group of 21. Oldest 88, youngest 15. It was a very special weekend and many memories were made. We live in Hawaii, my parents in law in Hale, and our kids came from Chicago and Washington DC. The rest of the family is spread out in the UK. This was a rare opportunity for all of us to be together. We are so grateful to you and the wonderful space you’ve created for these kind of gatherings! The kitchen was very well equipped, we all fitted in the dining room for a sit down meal one night and breakfasts in the mornings. The garden was lovely with lots of seating for everyone and the weather was perfect! Lots of bedrooms and plenty of en suits. Perfect for a large group!

Booked this for my daughter’s Hen Party and it was perfect. There were 14 of us which meant we all had a bed each and a few to spare! The house is beautiful, well furnished and gave us everything and more that we needed to help celebrate. Including champagne flutes! The rooms are well decorated and spacious and also had everything you needed. Each room had their own key with a front door key which helped if people wanted to return at different times. The kitchen was well stocked and the dining area was fabulous for us all to eat and celebrate together. The garden, complete with covered space and comfy furniture was a bonus on the sunny Friday as we waited for people to arrive in the sunshine. On departure, one of the guests realised she had a flat tyre so was still there when the cleaners arrived. They promptly offered to make her a cup of tea whilst she waited I would highly recommend. As some of the Hens were out of the area we also did a Treasure Hunt on the Saturday morning which was great and as someone who doesn’t live too far away, I certainly saw parts of Chester I’ve not seen before!

We had the best time ever the whole lodge is beautiful and has everything you can want! 24 of us went for my sisters hen and loved every minute of our stay. 5* recommend to anyone looking to stay in Chester. The lodge was spotlessly clean and the garden was kept lovely we were able to hire hot tubs for the weekend also.

Just returned from a weekend away at Baytree Lodge for a friends Hen do with 24 girls which we booked through Airbnb . The b&b was fantastic, it has a large kitchen/ dinning area which was perfect for us to all have food and drinks together. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and clean with everything you would need including tea/ coffee, hairdryers, irons etc and look like they have been recently renovated. Tom was a great host and was always available by phone if we needed anything. He even arranged hot tubs for us to hire before we checked in, which was a fantastic addition to the already beautiful garden. The location was perfect too, it was really close to the city centre. Parking was great, we were able to fit 5 cars on the driveway and parking was also available on the road for free. Would definitely stay here again- worth every penny. Thank you Tom!

Came here for my hen do and had the best weekend ever, the bnb is spacious, clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. It’s close to Chester city centre and has everything you could need. Would deffo recommend and can’t wait to stay again!thanks for a lovely stay.

The house is beautiful and gave us everything and more that we needed to help celebrate my friends hen party! All the rooms are well decorated and also had everything you could possibly need whilst still having a lot of space, there was 17 of us in total and no one felt on top of each other specially when getting ready! Each room had their own key with a front door key which helped when people wanted to return at different times. The kitchen was also well stocked and left a lot of us with kitchen envy as we left yesterday! We were all surprised with the outside space and enjoyed the sunshine throughout the weekend in the garden we said the pictures we had seen before definitely don’t do the property justice. I would highly recommend and will also bare in mind if we have a similar event in the future! I would also recommend booking directly with Tom, he was great throughout the booking process and greeted us when we arrived to run through everything and provided a couple of bottles of Prosecco which were greatly received as we got ready for everyone to arrive!
