Room was clean and very good value for money. Service in the bar area was very good.

Had to book last minute, Claire was professional and accommodating. Despite us asking for early check in last minute. She was considerate and delivered exceptional levels of customer service. Thank you Claire! Would definitely recommend.

Hotel was actually better than we expected. It's location was great for where we wanted to be but I admit I was doubtful given it's appearance. I couldn't have been more wrong, once inside the building yes it was like every other Premier Inn we've stayed in but it was very pleasant and definitely somewhere I would recommend. Surprisingly quiet for being located on the main A3. We didn't use the car park that I've seen so many negative reviews about, but did eat breakfast in the restaurant and it was fine. My husband is gluten-free and their information folder is certainly easier to understand than some other restaurants but equally it would have been nice if the waitress had taken the time to point some basics out like gluten free bread being available if you asked. However, I will allow she was incredibly busy our first morning there and appeared to be running the restaurant alone.

On Christmas Day the lift door slammed into my husband's head. It left a painful lump and he spent the day in bed at my son's. There was no one at reception and the bell was not working, so we could not report the accident then nor when we returned. We asked to see the manager the next morning who advised us to contact customer care. I have now contacted them twice, finally getting an email regretting that my husband had hit his head on a door! I then emailed (3 weeks ago) with full details of the impact of the lift door. I have heard nothing since not even an acknowledgement. An appalling example of customer service that everyone needs to know about.

Had to pay for parking on site and car park is very small and tight when exiting, not enough staff for evening restaurant, waited to be seated but left the site to find another restaurant after waiting for 10 minutes, friendly staff and room was fine
