Zenec International Hotel (Chengdu Chunxi Tai Koo Li)

We stayed for 6 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Zenec. There are good selections for breakfast, the room is spacious with cozy seatings and a nice tea making tool that can serve either as a decoration as well as practicality if you're into brewing tea the traditional way. Room amenities are clean and modern. We also found that the hotel has some lovely little touches that make the stay more enjoyable; the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful, from the front desk to the chefs preparing the breakfast, to the housekeeping staff. The hotel also provides simple supper from 8 - 10pm. Although the selections are basic (congee, mantou bun with pickles, and sweet soup) but it's a nice gesture and something to keep you filled if you ever go hungry at night. The check out time is very generous, which is before 2pm. One last thing, the room comes with a smart home feature, with a virtual assistant (her name is Xiao Chuang) that can assist with voice commands, such as please close the curtains, turn on the TV (including selecting the channels), and weather query among others. The downsides are not that many, we wish that the hotel could have all 3 lifts working (currently it only has 2 out of 3 that are assigned to the hotel guests).
