Chuanxing Yinli Hotel (Chengdu Kuanzhai Alley)

Great location - just 10-min walk to Kuanzhai Alley. Very nice Chinese garden behind the breakfast area. It's a newly renovated red brick house which brings you the ancient Chinese vibe.

I originally booked the Nanting Suite, but later paid extra to upgrade to the Shang Jian Suite. The Nanting Suite comes with one bedroom, one bathroom with a bathtub, and a cozy window seat. The Shang Jian Suite, on the other hand, is much more spacious, featuring two bathrooms, a separate living room, and even a massage chair next to the king-size bed. All their toilet has auto bidet function which is a plus point. If you're used to staying at international five-star luxury hotels, this property may not meet those standards. However, if you're looking for a unique boutique hotel with more of a charming B&B atmosphere, I highly recommend it. Although the hotel is located next to a main road, it's surprisingly quiet once you close the windows, thanks to the double-glazed soundproof windows. There is only one washing machine and two dryers available. Whether the staff help manage the laundry queue seems to depend on the individual staff member. That said, the staff are genuinely friendly and always try their best to help. While some are quite young and may lack experience, their attitude and willingness to assist make up for it. One of the best things about this hotel is the unlimited complimentary bottled water, which is available throughout your stay. My flight was at midnight, and the hotel allowed me to extend my stay for another four hours for RMB200. They even rushed to clean a smaller room so we could rest before heading to the airport, which I really appreciated. The nearest subway station is about 700 metres away (around a three-block walk). There is also a convenience store right next to the hotel, along with plenty of local restaurants nearby.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are huge and very comfortable and there is an endless supply of bottled water for us to stay hydrated. They also provided a free afternoon tea for us to consume anytime during our stay.

It truly is a pretty hotel and more importantly, a great location! I could walk to many attractions or easily take the train. I enjoyed my stay here.

Nice hotel near 宽窄巷, with a landscaped garden in the Central courtyard. Room was nice and clean, and comes with an AI control to control most things in the room, and a big Marshall speaker. Only small gripe is that it seems a little too dark for families (the romantic ambience would be good for couples though!). Room had a small garden accessible from the room but didn't use it much cos it was mosquito season in the summer and they are absolutely vicious. Service was good and they accommodated a number of our requests such as packing breakfast for us to eat on the go, and forwarding some of our luggage to the next hotel FOC. Value for money definitely for what you can get in Chengdu. Will come back again!

Very beautiful place, hotel is amazing with a stunning garden, the area is full of restaurants and street food shops to have dinner. Highly recommended. Staff is kind and helpful they try their best to communicate using a translator. Breakfast is good especially soup handmade at the momen

The hotel was located conveniently near 2 key metro lines, so traveling around by public transport was easy. The room was really large and spacious. The staff were also really friendly and helpful. Thank you for the lovely sta!

Had a very restful stay at Chuanxin Yinli, the spaces, amenities & staff service are very thoughtful & caring. Will definitely stay here again for my next trip back in Chengdu
