We had a two night stay in the beautiful Manoir de Beauregard. Delightful hosts who could not have been more helpful. We had the Terrace suite, which was extremely comfortable and very spacious. We definite hope to return and explore the area

On arrival Jez & Sue were very welcoming. Room stayed in outstanding, Breakfast each morning to a very high standard. Recomend highly for a very enjoyable pleasant stay. Surrounding areas all beautiful. Garden and views stunning, A very unique pleasant stay.

This chambre d'hote is fantastic! Beauregard is a large manor house with a garden and ample parking, just above the Loire and with expansive views out over the river. It's a short distance from Gennes and Saumur - for my group this was perfect as we wanted to see historic and cultural sites in this World Heritage Area. This is a perfect place to relax and use as a base to explore this historic region, either by car or by bike. The acommodation was very comfortable, with high-quality bed linen, well maintained bathrooms and a large lounge. Outdoor space is fantastic too, with the option to enjoy breakfast out in the courtyard or on the terrace with views of the Loire. There's a lovely pool and everything you'd need to enjoy it, with sun loungers and a well-equipped pool house. Jez and Sue were fantastic hosts, they gave us so much great local knowledge and looked after us very well. They made sure we had delicious breakfasts, told us all about local attractions and restaurants, and generally made everyone feel really welcome in their home. Thank you!

Un très beau lieu, parfait pour les familles avec des balançoires, un jardin avec une petite fontaine, une piscine avec sa maison dans laquelle des jeux sont mis à disposition... Une suite familiale jolie et confortable (chambre enfants et chambre parents) Des hôtes souriants qui proposent un petit déjeuner savoureux et copieux Un séjour reposant sur la route de la Loire à vélo

On our way down the Loire à Vélo, we were lucky to have booked a night at this excellent chambre-d'hôte, but were very sad not having booked an extra night (or two). This is definitely not just a place for an overnight stay. It is a house with all the indulgencies of an English country house, without the blasé and over-priced tariff. A suite with all the amenities (bedroom, bathroom, boudoir and kitchenette), common room/reading room, terrace for sunny breakfast, clean and heated swimming pool, fine gardens... not to mention Sue and Jez's correct, helpful but discreet hospitality. We may sound over-enthoustastic, but that's how we are about the place where we hope to come back sooner rather than later.
