Travelodge Cheltenham

The guy at reception was great and the room clean, but that is where the good stuff ends. This is an old hotel in need of updating. Even with window shut the outside noise is loud...grom main road and KFC next door (industrial air con units and drive thru). No air con and room was unbearable with window closed. Shower clean but is fixed head and weak flow and has a curtain not a screen. Car parking is excessive. Although a private company travelodge must have some leverage as hotel guests are main customers. All in all it just felt a little sad.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was quite disappointing due to the overall cleanliness. The entire property had a strong smell of smoke, which was noticeable as soon as we stepped outside and continued throughout the corridors. This made it very unpleasant to walk through the hotel. The doors throughout the building appeared dirty and poorly maintained. Our bathroom, in particular, had tiles that looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned in some time, which was unhygienic and off-putting. Additionally, the carpet in our bedroom was in very poor condition and appeared quite dirty, which added to our discomfort. Cleanliness and basic maintenance should be a top priority for any hotel, and unfortunately, this location did not meet those expectations.

Comfortable bed but a noisy location. We were a bit worried about our car sitting with our luggage in it as there were lots of young folks hanging around. It did quieten down about 11.30pm. It was okay for a stopover and fulfilled its role but I prefer quieter places.

I even when you pay for the fast WiFi nightmare even logging on to the wifi. Staff claimed they could not refund me as it was an external company even though I paid Travelodge….

Stayed at Cheltenham for a couple of days lovely hotel wonderful staff did not like paying for parking £8 per 24 hrs Harvester next door which was convienant KFC close by kids loved it busy roundabout but hotel very clean, to get into town bus 94 runs regular. We would go back and stay again.

I travelled to Cheltenham for work and i decidet to stay at the Travelodge hotel because well positioned and very closed to the M5. Room spacious and comfortable. Ollie at the reception been an absolute star. He helps me with all my enquiries. Very professional
