Le Clos Aux Roses

This is a true gem situated in the heart of the beautiful, sleepy village of Chedigny. Everywhere you turn in the village, is a picture, it is stunning. The hotel is run by a delightful young couple for whom nothing is too much trouble. I arrived early and my room was ready and so I could go and shower and relax on what was a boiling hot day. The room was simple, spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower. The view from my window was magical. Parking in the church car park, just behind the hotel is safe and accessible. The highlight of my stay was the incredible gastronomic feast I experienced in the restaurant. It was simply divine, prepared with local produce, so flavoursome and beautifully presented matched with an excellent wine list. The three course meal was just €32, an extraordinary price for such a scrumptious meal. In fact everything about this hotel is reasonable priced and I very much hope to return in the future.
