Haraki Mare Studios & Apartments

We were recommend to holiday in Haraki by some good friends and specifically wanted accommodation right on the beach. Our search found Haraki Mare and we were drawn to it by the superb decoration and booked direct with Stella the owner. The communication and help started from making the booking and the level of customer service was second to none. Some of the personal touches Stella added were unexpected and a real bonus. The whole experience in Haraki was a real delight as it felt like you were joining a community where everyone couldn't do enough to help. The quality of the apartment matched the pictures and the location couldn't have been better.

Wunderschöne und liebevoll hergerichtete Ferienwohnung direkt am Strand. Die Unterkunft liegt im ruhigeren Teil von Charaki (obwohl der Ort allgemein ruhig ist) und ist perfekt für Familien. Der Strandabschnitt vor dem Haus besteht aus Sand und kleinen Kieselsteinen und das Ufer ist flach abfallend, also optimal für Kinder. Unsere Vermieterin Stella kümmert sich liebevoll um alles und ist immer für die Anfragen der Gäste da. Zwischendurch gab es Obst, Salat, selbstgemachte Marmelade. Danke Stella für den schönen Urlaub und deine Organisationen (Kinderbett, Flughafentransfer, Taxi…)! Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

We found this place to stay at the last minute in our favourite place-Haraki. A small apartment for 2 people on the 1st floor of a small block (only 2 levels). Immaculately kept and as pretty as the pictures show. Set back only a few yards/metres from the beach and promenade and very quiet. Accomodation included Double bed,bathroom with shower and plenty piping hot water,A selection of soaps and shampoo,s free. A small kitchen area with hob,sink,kettle,toaster. and a MAGIC fridge. I say magic because nice things kept appearing in it! Fresh fruit-salad-marmalade-even wine! All courtesy of Stella-the owner. She lives on site and is always available should you need anything-- you probably wont.. its all taken care of. A nice little balcony with table and chairs to relax on and the all important air-con and also a safe at no extra charge. Cleaned and towels /bedding renewed every day but one when we stayed. Stella--lovely lady.. speaks good english and you can deal direct with her via e-mail or whatsapp. She will reply to your queries very quickly. She also has good contacts and will happily arrange your airport transfers both ways at Very reasonable prices. Late arrivals not a problem either- so you will be able to access your apartment if you arrive in the early hours. Stella has other larger apartments avaiable and on the ground floor if you are limited. Fantastic little apartments and you are only 1 minute form Haraki Bay Hotel and Davincis new resteraunt which should be open for the 2025 season. Both great places to eat and drink. Sunbeds and parasols for hire--about 10 euro/day at this time. Speed boat hire and boat trips from outside your front door! Then you have the rest of Haraki !! thats a whole different review and its ALL GOOD1. HARAKI MARE--- STELLA... look it up- but be quick

We visited the island for the first time in 2002. Even then we liked Haraki because of its nice location and especially the quietness compared to large and hectic places such as Faliraki. We came back to the island 18 years later in 2020 and Haraki has charmed us again. We have returned to Haraki every year since 2020 and we will definitely continue in the future. We discovered a great place to stay in the quiet part of Haraki - Haraki Mare Studios & Apartments. It is a very nice, efficiently equipped and clean accommodation just a few steps away from the beach. Cleaning is done daily and the towels and bed linen are changed several times a week. The accommodation also has a small kitchenette where you can find everything you need (coffee machine, toaster and other equipment). Frankly, we don't use the kitchen much. There are several great restaurants and tavernas in Haraki so there is no reason for self-catering. Then I must also mention Stella, the owner, who is a great and friendly person. She tries to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Her hospitality is really warm. To conclude this review, I highly recommend this property to everyone who loves a quiet beach holiday. We are looking forward to seeing Stella again next year and spending several great relaxing days in Haraki.

Stella is a great hostess and a wonderful person. As soon as I arrived, she was immediately at my side and helped me with a problem with the rental car. I can only recommend everyone to make the organization through Stella - this way you not only save money, but you are also in the best hands! The accommodation itself is superbly equipped and the location is simply fantastic. It was particularly nice that the accommodation was cleaned daily, which made it much more comfortable. Another highlight is the beach nearby. Even in August it is not overcrowded and there are plenty of restaurants. Overall, it was a very caring and warm environment that I can highly recommend!

Stella is an exceptional host who takes care of her guests with extreme attention. The room is clean and fresh. The position of the studios' is excellent: just 20 meters from the beach. Definitely recommended for a peaceful and relaxed stay.
