Domus Renier Boutique Hotel

This is a great boutique hotel with extremely helpful personnel and very comfortable rooms. I called last minute because we had an event and we wanted to stay overnight in the cityof Chania . They had a room available that was one of the smallest rooms and the price was reason so I booked it . It was overlooking the back alley with city views and soothing water fountain and music. . The bed was very comfortable and all amenities were luxurious. They have complimentary, water, tea and coffee and a bottle of wine for us . They have luxurious towels and slippers as well as robes. They offered welcome drinks and desserts at the reception. Even though it is winter currently, the temperature was high around 20 Celsius and the room got very hot. I called the receptionist even though I tried with the windows open but it was not working. The staff was very accommodating and turned the cool air on, for us even though it has been switched off for the season. Maybe select a room with ocean view for more cool air. The breakfast was exceptional. They offered an à la card menu with multiple healthy choices but included a variety of exceptional canapé, smoothie and fresh squeezed OJ . The chef is exceptional and I am going to try their main restaurant when it opens in the beginning of april. Loved our stay and we will be back and try the suite with harbor views and jacuzzi .

Amazing property, location and hosts. We got upgraded to the master suite. Simply amazing spot in the middle of Chania old town!

You should stay at Domus Renier This hotel is outstanding. Old world charm and modern comforts. The entire staff was patient, helpful, and kind. People should seriously consider the wonderful experience this boutique hotel has to offer.

The staff was excellent, especially George who gave us excellent excursion tips and was the friendliest server we had in Greece! All staff were very helpful, hotel is gorgeous. We had the 2 bedroom master suite and it was probably the nicest hotel room we ever had. Restaurants are all walkable and excellent. Stay away from the ones around the waterfront though. They are tourist traps. The only negative was that the shower head in the master suite upstairs was clogged and there was practically zero water pressure. We shared the kids’ bathroom for showers downstairs. I also had to ask for ******* VIP amenity. They did bring up a small bottle of sparkly wine but I had to ask for it even though it was on the reservation. Breakfast was also excellent!

What an absolute gem. So much love and care went into this restoration of this historic 16 century Venetian hotel. We stayed 2 weeks and met everyone who works here. From reception to housekeeping and the talented chef Maria this boutique hotel was a relaxing and cosy place to come back to each afternoon. The beds were heavenly and the toiletries were olive oil based to support Cretan businesses. George , Maria,Ramona,Elena (Sophia of course) were the highlight of our days with their welcoming smiles. As well as everyone else who made us feel special. I can’t stress enough this place is special, not just because of its waterfront location on the Venetian harbour but its owners love for the building and her staff We hope to return here and we were blessed to have found it on ******* Anita and Paul
